I don't like how my game doesn't run well on my Mac even though My computer is much better than what the game requires.

My fiance built a computer specifically for gaming and it ran "clunky" until I wiped all of my non-EA CC. :( Now I can play on high graphics with minimal issues. I know that feel!!

When there's a fire, Everyone Should we put it out, Nooooo Lets all jump around screaming at it. Imagine if that happened in real life...

It was defiantly worse in Sims 2, in my opinion! At least this time around, someone is trying to extinguish the flames! I think if only neurotic and cowardly Sims did the whole freaking out over a fire, it would actually be funny.  ::)

EDIT: Dramatic Sims too, when one has Ambitions!

I can't make gardens look the way I want anymore, because if I use anything other than a full-height fence, the horses and zombies will get to it! Augh!

…Speaking of gardens and zombies, when I got the game it said it came with the Plants vs. Zombies content. So far, I haven't seen any of it.

“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

Did you download the content from the store? You should have gotten an activation code that would make the items available for download - they weren't installed automatically.

If you did - there's a few items that should have shown up in Create-A-Sim. The Plantern is under outdoor lighting, and the Peashooter under decor->plants.

Not sure if you're talking Wild Horses or horses your sims own, but if it's the former, buy the Wildlife Gnome and set it to discourage horses (or Discourage All Wildlife to avoid the Wild Horses, deer, and raccoons). I never have a problem with wildlife (the cat and dog gnomes, even when set to Discourage, still bring them running, just to clog up the doorway complaining about the gnomes before leaving).

One of my big pet peeves lately has been having my acrobat, Gretta Garters, constantly cancel her action to set up her stage for showtime in order to sign an autograph or something. I've been late starting more than once because I didn't catch it in time. It's so troublesome!

I blame it on her Rebellious trait. It's all I got.  ::)

It's because she's a celebrity (through Late Night). If it's not an absolute must, you can always Opt Active Household out of the celebrity system.

I didn't know the why, but I'm not surprised. Way to go, EA.  ::) I've never had a problem with other celebrity sims cancelling actions to sign/pose, though. It's very strange.

I just practice constant vigilance. Keeps me on my toes. ;)

Today's peeve while playing: All of my sims had to leave the teen party because we got busted by the cops.

It took everyone over two hours to figure out how to leave the house. I started resetting some of them because it was taking so long.

How can you do all of these other things, Sims, but have never figured out how to get out of the door in an orderly fashion? -.-

Here's a new annoyance for me . . .

Aliens.  Pretty much every night, someone gets abducted from my Dynasty -- and then is dead tired/hungry/etc in the morning when they have to go to work.

Why? *grumble*

I discovered that while re-downloading my other store content, but thanks!
EDIT: Okay, so the CAS stuff showed up, but nothing new in Buy Mode. Any explanations?

I had meant wild horses. I haven’t had too many problems, but when there’s a problem, it’s a HUGE one. And the problem with the gnomes is that I think they look hideous. But certainly better than its TS1 equivalent from Unleashed: A huge sign I always had to buy so pets wouldn’t do their business in my Sim’s yard, which would tank their Room score right before leaving for work.

The gnome issue is easy to solve, though. Using moveobjects on, plant your gnomes amongst your outdoor plants, so you only see them if you zoom way out. Or behind the couch, on the dresser, by the bathtub. Or put a tiny (1x3) basement in the corner of the lot, and plant the gnome(s) there.

But the gnomes still move around. That's the main issue.

The attract/repel gnomes stay where you put them.
