What's also irritating is when you have multiple kids/teens in the house trying to head to the exact same desk at the exact same time to try and do their homework--despite the fact that they each have a desk in their own room.
Haha, I find that irritating with just two children! I'm guessing it's even harder and annoying for you (because of the massive family in your story).  :)
Ummm, scouts doesn't build fun?  What's up with that?
I think all after-school classes should boost fun, because the signing up for classes isn't autonomous, and that you are doing them for enjoyment. Unless you are forced to do it. And with homework club, it should boost or decrease fun, depending on your grade. The higher your grade, the more fun you gain. The lower your grade, you lose fun.

One thing that keeps bugging me is the fact that new worlds usually don't come with any community lots but the ones from the base game and their own expansion (if applicable). Appaloosa Plains was refreshing because it had custom Ambitions lots and one bar. As much as I love Moonlight Falls, the default Ambitions lots look completely out of place there and required some work to "fit in". Not to mention the issue of how these default lots are often placed on lots that are too big, creating a noticeable gap between the road and the stuff on the lot -- or even placed the wrong way around. Fire station in Riverview, I'm looking at you. But at last these Ambitions lots are relatively easy to overhaul. The Late Night high rises which house most of the default bars stick out like a sore and rotten thumb everywhere.

This is an annoyance that I can sum up in a hypothetical dialogue:

"So you're a professional athlete? That's great, I love sports too!"

"I'm so bored. I HATE KIDS, YA KNOW?"

"So you're a professional athlete? That's great, I love sports too!"

"I'm so bored. I HATE KIDS, YA KNOW?"
... I've done things similar to that before...  It went something like this:
Me: *yelling* Hi there! I'm <insert real name here>! Are you <insert name here>?
Future friend: Um... Yes? *thinks: "Oh my gosh... It's a female Bart Allen clone"*
Me: Awesome! Is it true that you're born in <insert month here>? *thinks "If I poke her with a fork, will she squeak like a mouse?"*
Future friend: *slowly nods head*
Me: We're only like, a month apart! Do you really have a pet snake?
Future Friend: ... It's really my sister's snake...
Me: I love snakes! Could you show it to me?
Future friend: ... Okay... *shows her snake* *later on both discover the other is obsessed with superheroes and become best friends*

Yes, that did happen.

Routing. Seeing sims tapping their feet all in front of the door, not wanting to be the first to leave - and then complaining that they're stuck.

Having to move chairs out from under the dining table to have birthdays at them.

Using stairs. Especially the straight ones you make double-width (or more). And they all do the foot tapping because no one goes to the OTHER stairs 1 square over and use those.

Also, only one sim per circular staircase. Really?

Yeah, I totally agree with that. They should've at least allowed us the customize the width of the circular stairs.

If they did that it would take up so much space, and it would look wrong.

That's true, Anna. Either way, it would still be a nice option.  :)

I hate that I still have to cheat to add L-Shaped stairs to my homes. Because apparently only straight ones exist.

Also, I spend time serving lovely meals for my party guests, and the moment I call my guests to the meal, my Butler rushes in and puts it in the fridge. No matter how many times I pull it back out, he/she will immediately put it away.

And while the Butler will put clothes in the dryer and get clean clothes, they will not actually "Do Laundry," instead letting the laundry pile higher and higher in the hampers.

And am I the only one who finds it annoying that my Butler flirts with my significant other? Seriously, hands off!

Who decided to put boxers as career wear for elder males? And as random, no less.

Career wear annoys me. There's never the stuff I want them to wear as career wear - I set up a lovely waistcoated gentleman as his everyday wear, and then when I try to do something similar in career wear there's nothing there that looks formal enough!  >:(

The difference between elder and adult sim bodies annoys me as well. You don't stop wearing interesting clothing just because you get older!  :-\

And recently, pathing with regards to babies and toddlers. Pick up nooboo. Set up birthday cake. Parent with nooboo puts nooboo on floor. Other parent complains that they can't get to nooboo because of first parent. Second nooboo gets picked up and put in first nooboos crib. Toddler gets pointed at to be taught walking. Toddler crawls all the way out of the house and onto the grass, and parent walks out to join them, then toddler crawls all the way back into the hall of the house instead of staying in the nursery that has plenty of room.

Why can't sims climb over the double bed to get to the other side?! Put double bed against wall, crawl over to other side with first sim, second sim gets into bed closest to edge.

Apologies for things that have been said already, but there's 56 pages!!

Taking the whole family out in the Motive Mobile is a disaster. Oh man.. I had eight Sims (for the Baby Boomer Challenge) and first they got stuck at the door because no one could get to the door to open it (remedied with a double-door front door) and then Mom left without half of them! And then the teenagers got scolded for being out after curfew a block away. Ahh!

I also hate when toddlers do the tantrum animation for no good reason.

Or when EVERYBODY skinny dips. "Hi there, nice to meet you. My friend was invited to your party and brought me along! Oh, is that a hot tub? *NAKED*" And then everyone gets their clothing stolen.

I also don't like remorseful Kleptomaniac Sims.. I mean I understand the mechanic, and I don't play Kleptos most of the time because I feel guilty about stealing things (like Carl's nice sports car from Union Cove, muahaha...) but I need to accumulate stolen goods Simoleons for the LTW. I feel bad cancelling wishes to return stolen items.

And with Seasons, I don't understand why they don't just open their umbrellas up to garden and things like that or that they choose to stay in their soaking wet clothes unless they're told to do otherwise or shower.

Oh.. what else.. I don't like when stray cats come and rip up my newspapers. Or when werewolves knock over their own dang garbage cans!!

OH ALSO when parents can't find a single free space in the WHOLE HOUSE and make the toddlers follow them outside in the snow or rain to feed them a bottle!

I don't like how my game doesn't run well on my Mac even though My computer is much better than what the game requires.
