Yes, but you have to cancel it twice if your other sims are close-by. The first time it pings all the sims on the lot. The second time, only sims that are close by. It's a real pain!

My latest annoyance is vampires passing out outside work, and my sims leaving work to see it. I've started inviting them over before work and throwing sunscreen at them to stop it happening.

Oh my.. I have ONE sim employed in a rabbit hole and he and his genie sister are the only workers there. That would be quite a problem Chuckles. You could opt for a permanent solution, ensorcel them until you fulfill their LTW, and then get Immortal for them.

Speaking of leaving work...the big hit your job performance takes when you leave due to a forced event, such as pregnancy.

Actions that cancel out guitar tip playing are also highly irritating. That's worse with Late Night, as photo and autograph seekers often cancel out the guitar playing.

I find that AI in general is just annoying, because it sucks so badly. That's one thing that kills any longevity with my games. The townies never do anything logical, never pursue their wishes, never advance in careers, etc.

Hmm, your Sim didn’t get maternity leave? That’s odd…

I had a Sim visit Plasma 501 in Bridgeport earlier today, and instead of walking through the front door, he went ALL the way back around simply because there was another Sim near the enterance. On top of that, there were a ton of people blocking the upstairs elevator and I nearly shift-click-teleported him up there, but he got in when I wasn’t looking. Go figure.

During birth, father is forced to go to the hospital and if he happens to be at work, your job performance will plummet. You can usually cancel this out if you happen to catch it.

The other annoying job bug is with promotions. The one where you get promoted and it says you are supposed to be at work, even though it isn't your work day for your new rank. That one is especially bad in the criminal career track.

Another annoying thing about the criminal career is that only the time after midnight counts for career advancement.

I find it really strange that when I go biking, the Athletics skill doesn't increase.

Inventing skill. During inventing, your sim keeps knocking his own fingers and you hear "ow" "oww". It is reasonable during lower levels, but a master inventor still keeps knocking himself, frequently? It is like your sims is incapable of learning and improving, the sound is really annoying too, especially if you are trying to supermax the skill.

SimFreeek, I do love it when they say (something like), O, Schnertz!  My husband and I have taken to saying it when we're annoyed.

Ah that reminds me. Those dead Death Flowers causes my sim to cry over them, yet I still leave it there, since it is adorable the way the sims address the plants, lol. How is that related to what you are saying? I am not sure, haha.

I really need to play with the sound on more often.  "O, Schnertz"?  Love it!

I rarely allow my Sims to throw parties and never once they have kids and I'm trying to control more than 2 Sims at a time.

I hate parties because of all the issues you've raised.  But I have a room in my basement where I lock alway all the skill objects that party guests like to use but just creates work for my Sim, like the Professional Bar, the sculpting station, easels, chemistry lab, etc.  It solves some of those problems.  I make party drinks, romantic drinks, sorrow annihalators, and even skill drinks but I won't make energy drinks, the less time other Sims spend at my house, the less I have to clean or fix.

I hate the party guests who grab to a plate, place it on the table but before they sit down to eat, they talk to another party guest and forget about their food.  So they grab another plate... and forget that one too... and it goes on.  As watcher, I spend the party clearing plates as much as I can so Sims don't wash up and break the sink which is only upgraded to self cleaning.

I used to hate parties too, then I simply started creating a party area outside and lock all doors to family only. Now it's a snap. Just means I need to have a buffet table, table + chairs and a dishwasher close by.

I'm personally more annoyed by sims grouping up even if I don't want them to than parties.

One of the things that really annoys me is when I try to buy something in-game, or want to look here for tips and tricks, I come back and my screen is all dark. Like the game just tones down the brightness by itself. Drives me mental because I love to play full screen.

Another thing that drives me crazy is the stupid sprinklers. Excuse me, but you do not need to play in the sprinklers at 3 am instead of sleeping.
