Speaking of weirdly categorized EA clothing, there's that super-awesome sweater dress from the store. It's categorized as everyday (perfect!) and...sleepwear (what?!). I have yet to see a sim randomly choose the sweater dress for their PJs, but if they do, it's getting changed.

Still not as bad as this shirt, categorized as maternity wear without any maternity morphs (not to mention that it makes little sense as a maternity top).

I once had a sim age up with Betty Bangs (Agnes) hair style, some horrible combination of Neon colored shorts, and a semi-sensible top.  It was disturbing. I hadn't yet needed a mirror or dresser, and I scrambled to buy one!

One thing that aggravates me specifically about hair though, is the fact that for some reason hairstyles never start out locked to all outfits. Frustrating.

Another pet peeve.... the pink and blue maternity dresses with the really not flattering giant bows on them... seriously who would wear this?  Pregnant or not its a terrible look.

I just found my new pet peeve in the Sims: autonomous romantic interactions with non-romantic interests. Seriously, why should a married sim (with the relationship with her husband maxed) be able to autonomously flirt with another sim? And it was with her niece's new fiancé, no less!

I just restarted from my previous save. I didn't want THAT to have any repercussions and I rather like having the Eternally Faithful moodlet...

I think that might have to do with the sim's traits. I've had it happen with two different Hopeless Romantics (nearly ended a marriage for one of them), and it wouldn't surprise me if Flirty sims do that.

It really irritates me when my teens get become romantic interests or go steady with some random person at school just for attending prom. Then I have to go and break them up so they can marry the spouse I have chosen and they end up with the cheater reputation.

That's just it: she doesn't have the Flirty or Hopeless Romantic traits. The only trait of hers that I can possibly think of would be an issue is Daredevil, but that's a stretch.

It has nothing to do with traits, unless maybe Evil has an effect too. My houses are chaos because of the autonomous flirts

When Pets came out I almost gave myself whiplash. I like having the dog go hunting and have his sim come along behind him, picking up all the stuff he runs past, and critters cross the street more often than sims. Every time the animal I was controlling was in the street and a car blew right through them, I flinched (I have anxiety disorders and one side-effect is an exaggerated startle reflex).  ::)

I often play sims with the Hopeless Romantic trait, it is one my favourites and I never have trouble with them flirting with anyone else. They will automatically flirt with their partner a lot but never with anyone else, not sure why but I think that Hopeless Romantics tend to focus on the one the love more, I dunno.

I hate that when a sim is pregnant they can't go into CAS change their maternity outfits. Whether it be color or the outfit entirely, it annoys me to no end.

@Fansidoodle: Actually you can go into CAS to change a pregnant sim's maternity wear, you just have to do it before they discover they are pregnant, within the first 24 hours that is. I do it right after I hear the chimes after 'Try for baby' then I change them into the clothes I've selected.  :)

How are you people choosing maternity wear at all? I'd love not see such strange maternity wear.

Before they change into maternity clothes, plan one of their outfits to include clothes that are maternity compatible. They'll just change into that outfit for the pregnancy.

I'm too lazy to do such a thing, though.

I'd have thought it made even less sense for a hopeless romantic, since that's the opposite of the commitment-phobic trait - shouldn't a hopeless romantic be a one true love kind of sim?
