That's a great idea about the wedding/etc.  Ring/dress shopping, hairstylist, flowers, etc.  New career - Wedding Planner!!

If you don't mind mods there are mods that solve both curfew and max 8 house limit.  Also Rebellious trait seems to keep the kids out past curfew without cops showing up, at least more often then non-rebellious teens.  I had a teen with Rebellious and it wasn't until I realized it was 1am and the bed was empty that I had to go searching for my missing teen (who was funnily enough hanging out reading a book behind a police station! Hiding from the cops in plain sight!)

Being a wedding planner would be so fun! And I can't install mods, because I don't get internet on my computer (sadly).

And my teens have the Rebellious trait, but they still get caught. If they don't get caught by the police, their parents catch them -.- And you still can't visit people at night. Like it will say it is "too late to visit anyone" .
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.  :D

I hate it when a date ends because one of your interactions failed. It's not my fault you didn't want to flirt, Claire Ursine! And then you get a bad date message and the moodlet, to boot.

It's even worse when your all the way up to Woohoo and he stops to go to the bathroom! Then you have to start all over again, then it's too late and he's tired. So instead of a great date it ends up "Thanks, I had a nice time". My YA should stop dating Adult men, they have no stamina.

I can't stand that either! I mean, I'm sure his bladder can wait for just a bit, right? It'd be worth it!

Why do sims have to always go to the bathroom right before you propose? It took a lot of effort to time the proposal during sunset for the perfect screenshot. Why can't you hold it for two more minutes.  >:(

Someone in EA must have bladder issues; because it happens constantly. My sim wanted to public woohoo and he had to go to the bathroom! Talk about putting a damper on a date! When my sim asks someone out, she takes them to dinner (so their stomache is full); but I can't control the bathroom!

Things that annoy me:

The glitchy music in build/buy mode.
The music when the game loads.

The loud music that deafens me when they play video games on their computer.
People urinating on themselves..

Auto stuff:

Sprinkler playing in.
Play catch.
Painting.

If it's available, they WILL do it. 24 hours a day and 7 days a week.

I once let Buster and Bessy play catch and didn't make them go to bed.. Just to see how long they would.

Until the next afternoon. Way after their sleep bar was bright red..

"Courage looks you straight in the eye. She is not impressed with power trippers, and she knows first aid. Courage is not afraid to weep, and she is not afraid to pray, even when she is not sure who she is praying to. When she walks it is clear she has made the journey from loneliness to solitude. The people who told me she was stern were not lying. they just forgot to mention she was kind."

I also hate how everyone makes snoring noises when sleeping. Not everyone snores when sleeping. It drives me crazy!

I have the problem in Sims 2 and Sims 3 where they NEVER GET OFF THE COMPUTER OR STOP WATCHING T.V.! It is so annoying!

Why can't the parent/sim who is already holding the baby have the birthday for the baby?? Or the one who clicked the cake? Why does it automatically have to be the other sim (in this case the game makes the mum do it, even though Dad is holding the baby), not the one I want!

The parent with the highest relationship with the baby will take it to the cake.

I usually just change the channel on the TV to something so they can learn skills as well.  I once had a couch potato who also was a Natural Cook.  He would spend all day watching TV, learned half a dozen recipes and maxed out cooking.  Once he maxed cooking then we moved to the fishing and gardening channels.  That way he's happy, and I'm happy he's learning something.

Thank you for that explanation. That was driving me insane!

Another irritation for me is that it's not possible to give a "Pee here" order to horses as you can do with dogs, and that you can't order a dog or cat to do their business at all unless the bar is pretty low already. A cat can always be sent to the litter box, at least. I always have a garden, and I really want the fertilizer you can get from having horses pee in a stall, which can be annoying to coordinate.

I can't believe I got through this whole entire thread.  Took me days.  But then again, I usually only read this site on my phone during my breaks at work and while my husband is playing his games.

I have to say half of the stuff in this thread I haven't quite experienced yet, however, the main things that annoy me are including but not limited to:

Sprinklers.  "Play With Watertoys."  I watch that like a hawk, and only let my sim autonomously play when someone she's interested in plays, just to build the relationship.

...When I get an idea, get all hyped up about it (my latest one being wiping a complete world to the ground with nothing but foliage and roads, and starting from the ground up), then I read this site, and want to try something else.  I'm way too scatterbrained.

...That my Voodoo priestess/magician lady can only do so much with the magic items from the store.  The Cauldron, so far, is my favorite because I get some pretty neat stuff out of there (most of it special, rare or high quality), but so far, each "Conjure" action depletes her energy by one fifth (she's passed out tons of times - so have her visitors).  But the Voodoo doll is kinda pointless, the Book o' Spells is a little less than the doll, and the scrying glass, I just can't find.  Hopefully, the Hypnotizer will help with her magic shows.

...Because my Voodoo Lady is halfway into her career as a magician, she's now a 4 star celebrity with a TON of friends...and I totally blew 20,000 lifetime reward points on the Long Distance Friend for nothing: she completed the charisma challenge where her friendships never decay.  Well, I guess a double whammy in the friend department doesn't hurt.

So far, that's all I can think of.
