I hate it when my child sims always preside over royal court.  I line a few things up for them to do, switch to a different sim, next thing I know, my kid sims are presiding over an imaginary royal court.  Normally this wouldn't annoy me, usually, I think it's kind of cute, but, my current sims, when they change into that costume... their hair is bald...shudders.  it's actually kind of weird because in the game their hair isn't bald, it's actually a very full head of hair.

Presiding bugs me, too, because it goes on forever. I had one of the triplets in my longest-running game do it from mid-morning to mid-afternoon with no sign of stopping. As cute as it is, I now always cancel both the wish and the interaction.

LOL I think precising is the funniest thing. If it annoys you that much, I would make sure your child isn't a snob. Snobby children tend to do it the most. And if you play Bridgeport, stay away from Juniper Belle. He's a snob, and does it the most out of any premade child.

I hate the royal coart thing also! Started sending the kids to boarding school so I wouldn't have to deal with it!

The in game tattoo making process annoys me. I'll send a sim to get a tattoo (usually because they wish it) and everything goes fine until they get out of the chair. When they change back into their everyday outfit from their swimsuit, their outfit is completely different! They've suddenly gotten a new outfit that has replaced their original. Then I've got to switch their outfit and go into CAS to delete the fake which takes about 3 minutes on my computer. I'm pretty sure this is a glitch, since I've never had to deal with it before ST, but it really gets under my skin.

I think it's from one of the Showtime patches. Seriously annoying.

I've never had a meteor yet. I kinda want one just to see what it's like. Knowing my luck, now I've said that I'll get one in an important file or something...

If it were possible, I would give you (and anyone else) half of the meteors I get. Sometimes it feels like I get one every time I open the game. I know that's not true, but I've had at least one meteor strike every generation in my latest legacy. I'm on the sixth gen right now.

It annoys me when a friend asks to hang out and they always leave before you get there.

That gets under my skin too! It also annoys me when you go on a date with another sim and they leave the date before you get a chance to do anything.

...and then tell you what a lousy time they had.

Just for info, ask them on a date early in the day (say 5pm), take them out to dinner, then go to a bar or dance club. Buy them a drink, dance and voila! If you start a date late in the evening, they may be tired. Never failed for me, even before I found about cheats.

Some things I hate:

When you tell your Sim to do something and they start it then STOP and do something pointless.

I hate how weddings/engagements/funerals aren't that realistic. I mean, do you think it would be cool if a Sim could go wedding dress shopping or find a wedding/engagement ring? Maybe it is just me...

I hate the freaking curfew. I wish a teen could like sneak out to her boyfriend's house or something WITHOUT getting caught by the Cops. I wish you could choose their curfew and if they even had one.

I also dislike the 8 people per house limit. I like really big families, and I know 8 people is a lot...but still I LIKE BIG FAMILIES!
I don't suffer from insanity. I enjoy every minute of it.  :D

That's a great idea about the wedding/etc.  Ring/dress shopping, hairstylist, flowers, etc.  New career - Wedding Planner!!

If you don't mind mods there are mods that solve both curfew and max 8 house limit.  Also Rebellious trait seems to keep the kids out past curfew without cops showing up, at least more often then non-rebellious teens.  I had a teen with Rebellious and it wasn't until I realized it was 1am and the bed was empty that I had to go searching for my missing teen (who was funnily enough hanging out reading a book behind a police station! Hiding from the cops in plain sight!)
