I don't like toddlers and babies. They're a nuisance, can't barely interact with anything, and townies seem to be so bad at tending to them that just about every game-born NPC kid whose traits I checked had at least one sort of mental disorder. Or at least I suspect bad traits are more likely to crop up if they don't get their basic training?
I don't like rabbit holes. Schoolkids and career Sims are stuck in there for way too long, leaving me too little time to actually have fun with them (watching them sleep, sending them to the loo and cleaning the house don't count as fun).
I don't like how useless dogs are at fending off burglars and other intruders. Didn't Pets come with a promo pic of a bunch of Dobermans chasing a burglar? Our Sims can steal, beat each other up, cheat on spouses and neglect kids, but I can't have a dog defend my home? Meh.
I don't like imaginary friends. At first I thought it'd be amusing to let my first Sim-kid have the thing, but when she I saw her spend just about every uncontrolled moment going lalala at the creepy rag doll, I began to see red fast. Now I just keep it in a parents' inventory since I heard that even force-deleting it doesn't always work.
I'm totally baffled by pet spawners not being in CAW.
Also, and this is a constant irritation: I can't stand most of the clothing for women and girls, there's just too much stereotypically hyper"feminine"/sexualized stuff there. How many health-hazard high heels do we need -- even for tiny children? How many skimpy dresses and tops? How many skin-tight pants? I'm so incredibly jealous of the many awesome clothes, both casual and formal, that the male Sims get, and always grind my teeth because I
so wish I could give those to the ladies as well.
Speaking of CAS, I often don't understand why an item is or isn't flagged as casual/formal/sportswear. They should just let us use every item for every outfit.
(Vampires and paparazzi I just disable, thanks Twallan!)
