One thing that really annoys me is whenever there is a fire in the house, your actually trying to kill your sim in the fire, and say you have a brave sim that comes rushing towards it to stop the fire.  I hate it when that happens! >:(

You know what's ironic about that to me? A fire erupted for the fireplace in my sims' bedroom and I wanted them to die in it. But the fire just burned out eventually. I was kinda mad.
The outside is quiet, but the inside is on full blast.

I hate it when my toddlers go to the top of the stairs to be picked up while mom goes down the stairs and when Daddy takes her out of the high chair and then takes her 2 levels downstairs to put her down. Grr!

That happen to me all the time when my sim teach the toddler to walk! Try put the high chair in the baby room. Now I reach all my toddlers to walk outside or at the park.

I have the similar trouble in a house I'm playing right now.  Mom tries to pick toddler up and there's definitely enough space, but somehow they just can't get situated correctly wherever toddler happens to be at that moment, so they walk all the way across the house together, getting in each other's way, so mom can pick baby up and they can walk back to the room they started in for whatever they were told to do.  I'm just glad the house isn't larger than it is, or they'd spend a lifetime walking back and forth!

Have the house stairs? My toddler sit at the top of the stairs and the mum wait at the bottom. That's why I let them teach the skills outside, I even put the potty outside lol.

I hate it when my toddlers go to the top of the stairs to be picked up while mom goes down the stairs and when Daddy takes her out of the high chair and then takes her 2 levels downstairs to put her down. Grr!

I hate it when my mummy Sim goes to read to the toddler and picks the book and goes down the stairs and out the door to the corner of the yeard! Then the action disappears.  So now the book is in her inventory so I click on the book and select "Read with Allan" and she goes back up the stairs by which time the toddler is waiting for her at the top of the stairs, and she won't go past him (double width stairs).  Instead she goes back down stairs and out to the yard again. I select "Hold" Allan and she goes back up the stairs and he has moved away enough for her to pass.  She picks him up.  I then click on the book again and select "Read with Allan".  She puts Allan down at the top of the stairs and goes down them again. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

Only solution I could find was for me to open the bookcase from her menu, then I open Allan's inventory and drag the books into his inventory.  Go to the library and then put him on the floor where she could then go off and read whatever she wants, and I pass Allan the books one by one.  He reads all 9 books in an afternoon and gets most of the way through learning the peg board before they're both too tired.

The home that caused me such grief was called Knollwood which I downloaded from this site.  Sorry whoever the designer was, and I love the house but its nursery is disfunctional...  Every time I tried "Feed on the Floor" the parents pick up toddler and take him down to the lawn to feed him.  That being said, I've had similar problems in other houses... not just Knollwood.  Also the houses in the game have similar glitches.  I realise that it's a pathing thing... but it sure is frustrating.

I get so tired of staircases blocking interactions, my homes are almost always one story.  If there's a basement or second story, it's for the things (like nectar making) that don't involve sims interacting with one another.  Although one story homes don't solve all my problems.  When the dog is chewing on a toy, for example, he somehow manages to completely take up the width of a four-tile room.  No one can go past him, and no one seems to realize they can go through the house around him, or outside instead.  It's too bad, really, because I like to make homes realistic, but realism often means pathing problems for sims.

Also this.  I think pets in TS3 are pretty good, but I wish their designers had placed stricter limits on randomly generated animals like they do for human sims.  Don't tell me this is a dog.  This is a woodchuck.

I hate the sound of the Computer games. I either cancel the action or mute the sound until they have finished playing

I've just done the Fashion Phenomenon LTW and I hate it when your sim gets a job, goes to the house and no one is there.  If you are going to hire a fashion consultant at least have the decency to be there when my Sim shows up!

Sheesh!

I hate the three days of wailing and sobbing after something or someone dies.  This also applies to sims crying about dead plants.

That dog is the most amazing thing to ever be in the Sims series. If only he was some unnatural colour. ;D

Also, it annoys me that, when you trap an NPC in a locked room, they'll just teleport out! Yes, visiting foreigner, I know that you didn't have a good time, but I'd appreciate it if you didn't suddenly develop magical powers, thank you.

I doubt the issue with toddlers and staircases has anything to do with the way a house is built. I've had this happen to me in every possible house, including a huge mansion I built for a Dynasty. There was definitely enough room there for mom to pick up the toddler without any trouble, but no! she had to go downstairs. Then I would make the toddler move away from the top of the stairs, tell mom to pick him up again, and it would work... proving that they had enough room to do it. And it doesn't only happen when I try to teach them something or read them a book... also when I try to feed them, change them, put them to bed etc. One more reason to hate sim-toddlers, LOL. Lately, unless I'm playing a challenge, I just adopt children or use testingcheats to manage the baby/toddler's needs until they age up to children. So they basically stay in their room playing 24 hours a day. I know, I'm a cheater... but I hate sim babies and toddlers!!!!

Another thing I really hate are EA built houses. They are so ugly! And most of the times they are really unpractical, like wasting too much room for useless stuff.

I hate the issue where there's a small object in a sim's way and they do the "help dance"......

I tend to have loud opinions. So sorry. I got tons of issues, lol. I can also be found on Yahoo! Answers.

My Sim was visiting a friends house and their dog had stars on his back, as part of his coat, I meant to take a picture, but didn't (obviously) I was like, "wha??"
