Sunset Valley in general pretty much annoys me. It seems in Sunset Valley, there's no variety, and the same things happen, with the same Sims, over and over again. (Fiona is always reading a book when I send a Sim to the hospital to have her baby, Stiles is standing there, freaking out. The Bunch Family is having a picnic in central park, the lack of Insane Sims, Marty and Justine are playing catch, Xander is at the gym.) There's nothing different happening within the Sims. Naturally, I prefer the other default town, Riverview. That town has more interesting situations with Story Progression, and, different, I may add. Plus, my favorite classic Sims are in that town.

I think I'm annoyed that there's only two Insane Sims per world, in Sims 3. We need more Insane Sims.

this.

This is why I hate Sunset Valley with an everlasting firey, glowing passion. *_*

Remember that Sunset Valley was the first town. They can't have all the things the other towns have.

Sure it can.  The one I'm playing has pretty much everything needed to play all of the expansion content.  Twinbrook, on the other hand, you'd have to raze half the town to fit all that in there lol.

One thing that's starting to annoy me is the repairman/woman.  I'll have 3-4 things break before my Sims go to work, so I'll call them just so I don't have water squirting out of every fixture when they get home.  The repairman shows up, stands inside the doorway, says "Looks like I'm all done here...that will be $50."  Um...you haven't even started yet.  Of course, if I call them when just the sink breaks before they go to sleep, they'll spend literally all night fixing it.  Start working at 11:30, finished at 6am.  But at least it's fixed.  :P

Do you know what annoys me? Excessive loading times. I'm a frequent Edit Town user and it takes about five hours to add only about ten lots and move in about the same number of families. It's insane. I just decided to download custom worlds in hopes of them matching my needs...well, tell you what, it's hard to find them.

Yes, I hated loading times in Sims 2. I was more than once about to throw my computer out of the window because of that.

Ahh, I totally agree! I hate loading times so much, they are the bane of my existence! Here's me, all excited about my new Expansion Pack, then I have to wait hours for the stupid new lots to be placed! Mood = ruined. I'll be fed up of the EP before I've even had a chance to play! :P

It isn't so much that. It's the same things seem to happen, and the same people are always used. No one has interesting stories, or personalities in the town. The only people I really like, are the Goth/Bachelor/Crumplebottom family.

Riverview is much more interesting. It has my favorite classic Sims (the Newbie/Simovich Family, the Broke Family, Don Lothario) and the Sims have actual personality, more unique Sims, and interesting backgrounds. No one ever pays much attention to the more interesting Sims like the Grisby's (my favorite), Billy Caspin, Jon Lessen, Meadow Carpenter-Rhodes, Hunter Cottoneye, George Dean, the Lin Sisters or the Shallow Family. AP, HS and BB are my three favorites, because of the animals and fantasy themes. Barrington Diamond and Booker Singleton are much better than Christopher Steele. I tend to play them, as single dads.  :)

I totally agree on this one! Sims 2 loading time is a bit more patient than TS3. TS2 only takes a few seconds if that. Yes, I still love playing TS2.

My loading time has actually gotten better lately.  What really kills me is when the game takes forever to shut down, especially when you didn't even ask it to save.

Trying to contemplate surroundings over and over and stomping feet and grunting because they can't take a step back to do it.

That the mom sim drives herself and her husband to the hospital, takes a taxi home and doesn't put the car back in the garage.

Long loading times. I know this is a huge game (and every expansion makes it even better) but still.

- That sims make dinner for them selves, instead of serving them. For some reason both adult sims always want to make dinner for them selves at the same time...
- The car doesn't stay parked, when going to town. Are the sims really that strong, that they can carry it around?
- when the sims are complaining about being hungry, and forget all about I just made them make something to eat. Or on the way to the toilet, they'll stop, and tell me, they really have to go.
- Not really annoying, but in Showtime, why don't the audience give my sims an applause, at least when the show is over :-(?

Another annoying thing to me in Sims 3 is the game's system requirements. I know that it's required for the open world and detailed graphics, but, come on, if I can play TS2 brilliantly with highest graphics on my laptop why can't I play The Sims 3 without utter lagging and bugs/glitches on LOW settings? Doesn't make sense to me.

Human sims do this, too, but it was my pets that were particularly annoying last night.  Dog cues up an interaction across the lot for Cat.  Cat waits patiently for half an hour as elderly small Dog crosses the lot on his slow little feet.  Despite there being zip in Cat's immediate vicinity, they cannot interact where she stands already, they have to move.  Once they get into position, despite having had all that time to herself, Cat now insists on doing autonomous "I'm chasing a fly" or "I'm looking at the ceiling" stuff, delaying the interaction even longer.  No wonder pet social meters are such a challenge.   ::)
