Do we have that little tid-bit in the guide anywhere?
You know...I don't believe it's in the guide itself, but I have mentioned it a time or two in other threads. But perhaps it
is worthy of an honorable mention somewhere, now that you mention it.
The only real drawback is that you can't send them to the chest to grab a serving of a meal like you can with a fridge. You have to open the chest and place the whole thing in their inventory or on a surface (Ambrosia doesn't have that problem, since you can only prepare a single serving). But in light of the benefits, this is a very small matter in my opinion. It's easy enough to put it back after everyone is fed.
Edit: The above paragraph is as much of a benefit in some cases as it is a drawback, though. If you store something in a WA chest, it can
only be manually removed. Thus, you don't have to be concerned with Sims making Life Fruit Pancakes, when you'd rather the Life Fruit be used for something else, by placing them all in a chest. And if you do pre-make Ambrosia and store it in the chest, you'll never have to worry about someone else grabbing a serving when they don't need it (or in the case of a Dynasty,
can't eat it).
