I had a babysitter that was surprisingly good.  She changed diapers, fed the baby, put it to bed when it got tired, and mopped the floor (from the leaking sink) in between looking after the baby.

Though I do wish I could call a neighborhood teen and ask them to baby sit, rather than calling the babysitting agency.

:)

Yeah! or at least call and hire a specific babysitter! I mean, if you already had a good one take care of the kids, why do you have to keep calling that useless babysitting agency that always sends you random lazy or creepy ones?! Really annoying. And I agree, babies in TS3 are really boring and annoying. I mean, I don't have babies of my own, but I have a 1-year-old nephew and I swear he was never as needy as sim babies. My sims don't even have time to go to the bathroom when that awful social need is red again!

I agree, not to mention the toddlers always wanting to be picked up all the time. As a matter a fact, I played with my 2-year-old second cousin, and she's defiantly not even close to being that needy.

It seems that the old romantic option "compliment personality" is gone.  :( I liked that one.
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

That;s weird, I was just playing a married couple and the option didn't come up.  :-\

Perhaps the active sim with whom you tried the interaction isn't very nice?  Or the other spouse not very likable?  Or maybe they're relationship has just passed the point of having the need to impress with compliments.  I've never noticed that either Compliment Appearance or Compliment Personality was ever missing.

It's not missing, I just used it  :).

I have to say... if there's something I hate from the game are all the glitches that come with it! I just fixed my crashing issue and now my sims' needs are static for no reason! They are constantly elated, even if they are starving, stinking and peeing themselves at the same time. I know there are worse glitches in the world... but my sim almost starved to death a few minutes ago because his icon never got  red  >:(.

I hate how much time is wasted waiting for a sim to get on with the task assigned to them. This is especially true when it's time for the sim to go to work. I cancel their activity before the carpool shows up, but they just stand there for a sim half hour before finally changing for work and running out to the carpool. And then they are late for work. I want my sims to do what I tell them to do, when I tell them to do it.

Another annoyance...I had a 4 star celebrity doctor trying to run a vaccination clinic. She spent most of the time signing autographs, even though I cued her to give the vaccinations. She had a really lousy job performance for that.

I hate that delay too. I'm not quite sure when it started, but it wasn't there to begin with. They might as well ALL be absent minded with all the updates we've had. They stand there thinking about what they're about to do for half an hour, and if you leave them alone to focus on another sim, they cancel their action queue and just do what they like anyway!!!

I don't find Toddlers needy at all. Even without the Swing Chair they are not needy. Just give them some toys and they keep themselves happy in my game.

It's the same in my game these days - the husband can still compliment his wife's looks, but the compliment personality option is gone. The wife lost both of the 'compliment' options... Also, the husband is evil and mean (the wife is neither), and he's still the one to compliment. :D

I sometimes get the delay when going to work, too. But what annoys me most is that all the interactions with cats and dogs are very slow. First, they just stand there idle, and when they finally start the action, the pathing and pointless circling around takes ages. I guess there is a lot of pathing issues... even when I build my rooms more spacious. It's so stupid when picking up your pet dog takes a sim hour.

I may be wrong, but I think all those delays are related to the graphic card. I had them with my old card, but since get a new card it doesn't happen anymore. Not even in Bridgeport.

Maybe they are. I have a lot of these delays and my graphics card is an Intel integrated chipset that is barely above the minimum requirements, so that's very possible.

I don't hate toddlers too much actually, they aren't too needy. But babies.. oh those annoying ugly babies. How I hate them.

I also hate when you tell a sim to relax in bed to woohoo with another sim. By the time the second sim lays in bed as well, the first one is already leaving! and if you tell him to go relax again, the other sim leaves as well!  >:(

I've practically stopped the WoHoo in bed with married couples because they stand and stamp their feet to see who gets to bed first; then the cue for one drops. So, I have them use the shower often (both get clean in themorning before work) and there's less tapping of feet! Or I use the hot tub.
