I have the same trouble in the stylist career when taking pictures for my sim's portfolio.  Thankfully, there it's the picture that counts, not what's in it, so there are a lot of butt shots because that seems to be what the camera is always already aimed at.
And even more when Metro is the one taking the picture.

Gosh, I feel like I'm always letting you guys know of my annoyances all the time from this game!
So here is yet another one...

I hate that when you are in portrait mode (for painting) you can't rotate or try to get any good angle on your subject, and it always makes horrible paintings! Especially for your Dynasty museums..All of my portraits come out with the subject's face from the neck up, and it just looks awful.

Actually, you can move the camera for the portrait a little.  I believe it's the X and Z keys that zoom in and out.  The portraits used to center exactly right, but it changed with one of the releases and now it starts too close.  I always zoom out just a little before clicking to accept the shot for the portrait.

Yeah, I do know that you can zoom in and out. I didn't realize that a recent patch made it even worse! Oh, well maybe one of these days it'll be changed.

Sorry Pam. Please don't hate me for this next suggestion.  :-[ Something that has annoyed me since I started playing Sims 3: the lack of CAS variety between children and toddlers. I'm not bashing at all, I just feel like EA has paid more attention into adding new CAS outfits for Teens-Adults. I feel bad for those poor little Sims! I wish that there was a Stuff Pack dedicated to Children and Toddler Sims only! No new CAS options for Teens and older, only toddler and children outfits, furniture and objects.

I would give almost anything for the game developers to release those babies from that swaddling blanket and give them as much freedom as they had in TS2.  Give them a single, recolorable outfit to wear.  I think this would make a lot of people very happy.  My kids' imaginary friends have better animations than their baby siblings.

My new annoyance with Pets is the strays that chew up my paper, etc. So I fenced in my yard to keep them out and they just sit outside the gate and whine.

I absloutly agree! I really wish EA would find a way to do so. I would at least like some recolor-able blankets.

This happened to me today.  A bride or groom leaving their wedding to go to work.  I went back to my last save, got him into the household and made him quit the job.  He's going to be a stay home husband. So he didn't need it anyway.

I think the Sims 3 babies are annoying in general. The fact that their overly needy, (I don't think real life babies are that needy), the fact that their left on the floor like a toy baby, and you could snuggle and manhandle the baby till the cows come home, and their social needs go down as soon as you leave the room. I don't like the babies at all. I actually feel bad for the Sims 3 Babies. They're treated like cats and small dogs in Sims 2: Inappropriately manhandled.

I never understood this. I was always annoyed with the tiniest things, and find them unrealistic, yet the big too realistic things annoy me in the game.

I agree,it's also not enough to just hold them, the cuddle and play with gets old really fast. I would also like them to get rid of the blankets and have some clothes and that children could do at least a little interaction with them.

Also I don't get why toddlers can't play in the sandbox they should be able to at least dig a little in it and maybe eat some sand when the adult isn't paying attention.

Also what is the point of teaching them to speak when they can't communicate with anyone when they want a snack, toy, cuddle and such things that toddlers want.

Also the useless babysitters annoy me, the only fun thing is that you can have the toddler turn off the TV. If it's a baby I think you can do it with some of the other Sims in the family.

I totally agree! The toddler's not being able to play in the sandbox was a bit of a bummer. I wish it could have been used to help a toddler get 1-2 points in sculpting, with Ambitions. I've been playing Sims 2, for families.

It kind of bother's me that the Spring Riders don't help a child's riding skill that show up later in life, with Pets. I was hoping that it could work the same way the toy oven and the play table work, where they end up with skills later in life.

I actually found the babysitters much better recently. The one I hired actually took the toddlers, cuddled with them, and even helped them ride on the spring rider.  ;D

Butlers still annoy me to NO END! I wished there was a filter option to tell them what duties they can and cannot do. They cook ALL the time and then it puts an action in all my sims queues and messes up their day. Especially when you have 4+ sims in the house!

Sometimes you get one that actually spend time with the toddler but they can still forget to feed them for the whole day while others are more interested in yout computer and TV.

I had the most freaky babysitter once. Mom and Dad went out for dinner and movie night and therefor didn't need much tending so I hung around the house watching how the baby sitter was doing, they had two children one baby and one child. The baby sitter did tend to the baby a little but most of the time he spent standing beside the child's bed staring at her while she was sleeping. It was very odd.

I had a babysitter that was surprisingly good.  She changed diapers, fed the baby, put it to bed when it got tired, and mopped the floor (from the leaking sink) in between looking after the baby.

Though I do wish I could call a neighborhood teen and ask them to baby sit, rather than calling the babysitting agency.
