Things that annoy you in the Sims

I hate the noise when someone sets a laptop up to play computer games. I got that way once that whenever a townie set up one in the park while my sim was there, I'd shift-click and delete it.

I also hate it when I send my sim to bed, they just get in, then decide they're so tired they need to pass out, so get out of bed to pass out.

I used to have that problem all the time. Now they don't seem to do it anymore. I think my biggest problem is when Sims nap in bed but they don't sleep event though they're very sleepy.

More things that I annoy me. It's to easy to get famous and then you have to deal with people spreading false rumours about your Sims all the time.
Also that the vampires doesn't have the sense to stay out of the sun. I had my two vampires stay at the base camp while on vacation to avoid death and played the other members of the family. Then one of them got the "Sick from the sun moodlet" and when I checked on them she stood outside, probably because somebody wanted to take a picture of her (5-star celebrity) and then she stood there like an idiot.

Hey! I like the Vampires! Much better than Sims 2!

What really irritates me though is when I called the fire department recently (in game) my brave Sim ended up doing most of the work while the actual fireman just stood there not doing his job, and I got fined §500! The police fined me too after calling him reporting a burglary! I got that popup message "You shouldn't be playing with the phone like that. That's §500." I can't believe I know that message by heart!

That sounds like a graphics issue to me.

That sounds like Advanced Rendering is turned off. If your graphics card can support it, turn Advanced Rendering on. It makes a difference!

Simstar put your graphic settings on default, if your card can support it it will put advance rendering on

Oh I like them, I just wish that they wouldn't be standing around in the sun getting sick as soon I left them to their own devises for just a little while, even if they are given something indoor to do. 
 
It also amuses me rather that annoys me when you have a child with vampiric parents that gets the message "encountered a vampire for the first time" in school. I'm just like "No sweetie it's not the first time, you are raised by vampires"

Yeah, that's what happened to me when I got a new computer, I absolutely hated playing with it. And as everyone else said just go to options, then graphics, then check of the box that says "Advanced Rendering."

I don't see why an Elder with a Cane seems to walk so much slower than without a cane... I asked an Elder to move in, she had a Cane and we were at that Recurve Strand, miles from the road and she walked with that cane the whole way so slowly, it took her several Sim Hours!

There are two styles for the cane, one style walk quick and so proud. Can't remember what you call it lol.

Yes.  Just Yes.  I'm glad someone else hates this too.  It's why I almost never have classical music on their radio.
