It annoys me when they call the household to meal and then they themselves eat like pigs. They are already hungry; they call everyone to eat, and if you're not watching, they eat twice!

What annoys me is that when I tell my sim to feed the toddler on the floor, they carry them around the house and finally put them on the ground, when they could have just fed them where they were.

And it's usually far away from where both the toddler and the parent started, too!  And never have the parent on one level and the toddler on another, apparently this confuses the pathing really bad, and they'll both get stuck on the stairs!  (I get that all the time.)

That even when the sound is comfortable in all other parts of the game, the computer game is painfully loud. I want them to have computers for writing, chatting and playing chess but don't allow them to play computer games any more, they have to go and entertain themselves with something else Tv, Dart board or anything that isn't that loud.

Sometimes the stereo does that too, I hear it's something in the sound settings for the game, but haven't found out what yet.

I usually don't have that much free will on, but now that I played the tournaments I discovered new things that annoys me.
If your toddler is bored, hungry and need to go potty. Putting him/her in the crib isn't going to help at all!
Also when your exhausted toddler finally is asleep please don't go and pick them up because you want to snuggle.

Oh yes, that sounds like a familiar rant. I actually turned Free Will off, because of the stupid way the other sims handle toddlers.  Pam's right, it's probably something in the scripting and how the game handles needs bars, but it doesn't mean it's not annoying.  In a challenge, I either bend the rules and still leave free will off, (since I'm not going for the Hall of Fame, I'm content tweaking the rules) or I just cancel all interactions with the toddlers so that I can get the sims to do what -I- want!

I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet, but memories! That annoying dinging sound it makes every 5 (real life) seconds, when a Sim does something new for the first time: cooking, dating, making a new friend etc. it's really irritating. Well, I did turn it off, because my popups would be up to 30 pages, which was BEYOND annoying. The only reason why I ever liked Sims 3 memory system in the first place was so I can get free gifts. Now that I uploaded 200 memories, I'm officially irritated and DONE!  :D

Yeah, I feel like they really over did it with the memories. They should have kept it simple and only had memories for the big things like getting married, having a kid etc., Because we don't need a memory for basically all the actions we queue up.

I just went to the bathroom. Yay! A memory!
The toilet didn't flush the first time. Yay! A memory!
I just went to the bathroom again. Yay! A memory!
The toilet didn't flush right away this time either. Yay! A memory!
Etc.

I hate it when I tell my sim to walk somewhere and he promptly 'X's out what I told him to do and walks somewhere else on his own.  And then we have a fight about it because I'll tell him to walk where I told him to go again and he'll 'X' me out again.  This goes on for awhile and then I bash him over the head with 'moveobjects' and put him where he's supposed to go.  Maybe this is why I can't do legacy challenges...

Some of the memories are a bit pointless. I get figuring out you're pregnant, marriage etc, but I don't remember everyone I've ever met, and my Sims shouldn't either. :)

It annoys me when your sim is trying to make money on tips and a celebrity walks by and they drop everything to take a cell photo. Then everyone starts leaving and there goes the tip session.

It annoys me that you can't tell how many portions of the same meal are stored in the fridge as 'leftovers'. If I tell two sims to eat the leftover waffles, and there's actually only one portion in the fridge, the second sim has to get cooking, or have a quick meal. It would save time and be a lot simpler if you were able to tell how many portions were left.

Yeah, like in brackets or something it should say how many servings are left.

No, she was saying that that's what it should be like.

Oops, I should have read the post more closely. In my defence it is 1am where I am, and I really should be asleep ::)

One thing I find really annoying, is people being overly obsessed with Sims looking pretty, so they overload on the CC. No offense but those CC filled pretty Sims aren't pretty to me, they're creepy. The way EA created those Sims are fine just the way they are and they can be just as pretty without the creepy human look. Hair and clothing pieces are fine every now and then (I'm guilty of using those), but don't go overboard. I don't understand why a person has to ruin their game by making their Sim look pretty. I like having different types of Sims walking around not just pretty ones, and playing around with the different wacky outfits, and CAS sliders so I can get the most ugly or hideous interesting looking Sims. Plus, I hate how people don't like to use unrealistic skin colors (blue, green, red) because that makes CAS even more fun.
