Midnight phone calls.  At least they don't wake the sims up, but if you're offended when I call you at 3am, why do you get to call me whenever you want?

When a sim calls and aks if you want to "hang out" and you arrive at their place and they're gone. Nothing like wasting gas to get there and find no one at home!

I've been reading through this thread, nodding and laughing as I agree with everything that's been written.  The bottom line is, Sims just aren't that bright!  Which is probably why I try to control everything my Sims do, as I don't think they're smart enough to run their own lives.

Then again, having stupid Sims isn't entirely a bad thing.  At least it gives me the opportunity to be smarter than they are.   ;)

Somewhat related to the above:  I hate it when sims will grab some Mac-n-Cheese fixings to cook themselves (and will probably burn) when there's an already prepared, better meal sitting on the counter.  It has nothing to do with getting the Cooking skill for me.  It has to do with the fact that if there are any number of people (teenager or older) in the same house, they will all try to cook their own meals.  I've even had sims attempt to cook while someone was actually in the process of cooking something.  Cue the "I'm frustrated" dance, and leave an uncooked meal on the floor...hey, and why not go to the fridge and try to cook something again??  Yeah that's always lovely.  :P

That's another one for me. And it seems they usually serve a meal so I end up with a ton of left overs in the fridge that seldom never eat. Even when the left overs is there favorite food.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.

It's annoying when they run, rather than walk, out of a club or building to get to their car. It's like they can't wait to get home!

I hate this alot! Specially when you have a big family! I usually have one Sim master cooking and the others pick it up so when she's/he's not home. But when they are all hungry they all cook something different. Exacly as you say and they do this "Cue the "I'm frustrated" dance, and leave an uncooked meal on the floor...hey, and why not go to the fridge and try to cook something again??" Exacly. I just put a door and lock it to the Sim cooking and the unlock it.

It annoys me when you have a bunch of stuff cued up and you go to focus on another sim in your house and the previous sim gets asked for an autograph or picture and the cue goes away and is left there picking their nose for hours until I notice.

I really, really hate this ^^^ >:(

When sims turn on the stereo then walk over and turn on the television to watch it, in the same room. ::)  Do one or the other, not both.  Very annoying, and noisy! :D

Particularly when the one asking for an autograph is the maid.  It stops my sim from doing what I asked him to do, it stops the maid from doing her job and odds are she's going to help herself to some ice cream or computer games now before she goes back to work.  IF she goes back to work.

Personally, I haven't had much trouble with people cooking when there's other food handy. But oh, the juice bar! I put a professional-grade bar in my sims' house. I threw a party. The family mixologist made Party drinks and Energy drinks - a couple trays of each, sitting right out in the open. Plenty of juice for everyone!

Every dog-gone guest at the party then proceeded to make at least one tray of quick drinks. Adding insult to injury, nobody actually drank anything - I had to clean up about 7 trays of quick drinks when all was said and done.

I've noticed my family members doing the same kind of thing sometimes - it seems like if the mixologist is working, and only if the mixologist is working, everyone else is likely to start trying to make quick drinks. Otherwise they leave the bar alone entirely.

I hate it when you have one sims thats supposed to do all the cooking, and then your other sims goes and tries to cook something, and then I try to stop him but then he lights the kitchen on fire.

I relate to all of these things. I have lately discovered that turning free will off (though I turn it on for the challenges) helps largely.

I don't have a mixologist in the family; but, my sim has a colletion of great nectars that she serves. However, the people visiting make quick drinks and ignore the 600 year old nectars! Guess they have no taste.

I don't understand why visitors who play with the baby (waking it out of a sound sleep, but that's a minor problem) leave it on the porch when they go home. Are they too tired to find their way back to the crib?

What really annoys me is the sprinklers.  It's getting to the point that I hate to put in a garden. I've have Sims who were starving and had the  "really has to pee" moodlets and they would not move away from those sprinklers.
