I don't know if this is more towards sims or my computer, but I'll post it here anyway.

I just finished a simport exchange and when my sim came home I clicked on the little notice that comes up that takes you to your simport page and my computer completely froze! I waited over 20 minutes and it still stayed the same so I ended up just hitting the power button. So not only did I lose the simport rewards but I also lost a bunch of gameplay! UGH!  >:(

I really, really hate this ^^^ >:(

When sims turn on the stereo then walk over and turn on the television to watch it, in the same room. ::)  Do one or the other, not both.  Very annoying, and noisy! :D

I know I'm quoting a VERY old post, but the combination of a +10-40 moodlet and watching the TV for a full Fun meter more than makes up for the noise.

One thing I hate is the fact that I've got the call for the SAME oppurtunity at least 2947234729472347239487234897239472394872394... times. I wonder when the agent realizes that I am never hungry and never go out to eat unless if I'm having a weekly meal of Ambrosia. I am mining with the Miner, the agent calls me. I'm in bed, sleeping, the agent calls me. And it's the same thing every time! *Go out and eat at a place that serves bad food* is what I think of it now. And what is worse is that I got a Divine Meal moodlet once at the restaurant, but the oppurtunity PURPOSELY makes it so you can't get a Divine Meal moodlet, no matter what.

*with the Ambrosia, you can Kick it Up a Notch and turn normal, replicated Ambrosia into perfect, fresh Ambrosia. I wonder if there is a difference between Normal and Perfect Ambrosia.*

I hate that restaurant one and never accept it. Who wants to tell their friends to eat at a crummy restaurant? Besides, my sim got the nauseous moodlet the first time I tried it.

I hate how I get a memory that they had already done before. "Your sim just went swimming!" Um, yeah, because we have a pool.  ::) I have a bunch of duplicate memories, I mean the memories are ok but we can do without the duplicate ones.

Duplicate memories are really annoying. "X just wohooed with Y celebrity" Yes I know, he's your husband. And he gets the "Y just woohooed with X celebrity". I just turn enable memories of now.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread, so I apologize if this has already been mentioned.  But lately my Sims wake up at 8 am exactly, whether or not they're finished sleeping.  I have a magician who never gets to bed before the wee small hours, and it's annoying to always have to send him back to bed to finish getting his rest.  Not a big deal, just a minor annoyance.

Duplicate memories are really annoying.

The memory system in general is pretty annoying. I unfortunately didn't play Sims 2, but from what I understand, memories were more for actual memorable things--getting married, getting fired, a parent dying--and Sims didn't get a new memory every single time they stopped at the market because they were out of cheese.

Yeah, I feel like memories were just some sort of ploy, to get free stuff when Generations was released. A lot of people have been begging for a memory system back, from TS2, and they thought, "well let's put it on and will amp it up with free stuff..." I like when they put TS2 stuff back in TS3, with an upgrade, but with the memory system, I was expecting more bigger, complex things, like falling in love, or obtaining a new pet. Not picking up a pet every time.

The other duplicate memories - "Mixed a Great Drink" AND "Mixed a Perfect Drink" - he made one drink not two. "Caught a Perfect Salmon" AND "Caught a Record Sized Salmon. One fish...

I had an angler Sim who maxed out his photo memory by the time he caught the 350 fish with just about every fish caught generating one or two memories... Similarly a gardener Sim generates a memory for every plant above great quality... big deal!  Go to the park, go to the library, go to the public pool, go to the graveyard,  go to the supermarket, go to the bookstore, earn a raise, get a promotion .....ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !!!

If the game only ever generates one photo for the first time the Sim picked up a gem or a raw metal, why can't it be as discerning for fish, plants, mixing drinks, etc.

I used to be able to turn the notification off, but since one of the patches around showtime, I can elect to disable memories but it doesn't work.  I get the dialogue box every time the memory generates... ???

That's why I use mods. I hate the memory system. Your celebrity sim can kiss her celebrity husband and it's a memory! I've kissed my own husband so many times, I don't remember the count! Too many years!

The ultimate worse is losing friends in Showtime! My sim loses friends everytime she performs (even at "Epic" concerts)! Ungrateful audience!

I just had my sim turn into a vampire. She's the only sim in her house, so I think I might sell the fridge and stick to plasma fruits. I didn't know they vomit if they eat normal food, so thanks.

I did think about selling the fridge but her husband and her 3 children live with her too. Anyways, I'm too lazy and inpatient for growing plasma fruit.

You can buy plasma fruit from the store. Plus the fridge comes with plasma juice as a snack, I think?

Store-bought plasma fruit is expensive, but growing it is maybe not practical for a large family. Each plant yields two fruit, total, one per harvest a couple days apart - one to eat and one to replant, so you essentially end up with 1 fruit/week/plant, meaning you need 7-8 plasma fruit plants per vampire sim in the family. (Or more! I've never played a vampire so I don't know how many plasma fruits you need to eat in a day. Or less - if you make pancakes or fruit parfait with plasma fruit, can vampires eat it?)

I have seen vampires get plasma juice boxes out of my fridge, which weirded me out a bit - I didn't know I stocked it! So it might be a good idea to hang onto the fridge.
