There are no cowboy boots for teenage girls.

With Showtime, sims taking on the new careers, and posting themselves in the worst places. I was trying to get my sims in to the bistro, but there was a singer blocking the doorway. Between her and the crowd, I thought my sims were going to starve to death before they got through the door. I've also noticed a singer right outside the spa door, too. Great for the performer...they are making money...bad for the businesses and the sims that can't get through the doors.

Yeah, I don't like the way EA story progression works. It can be hillarous, but it really messes up my game, as I like to have things go my way! Nraas style is way better!

In one of my games, Xander Clavell and Chris Steel both moved in with Gobias Koffi. With one bed. I had to enter the household just to buy them beds.

I know! I think EA should have made it so they can only move in if theres enough beds   :-X

When townies have children and don't even own a crib. Then the kid(s) passes out in the yard and that's perfectly fine for them. Let me try it and I get the social worker message lol

I like Bridgeport and the homes are almost all 1 bedroom. So I removed garges and made them rooms nd added beds. STILL, the fools are too cheap to move in to them. Immigrants take the homes. It appears everyone in town without celebrity status is dirt poor!

Original post removed by Kirby, cause her cousin logged in and posted her opinion without permission. >.>

Anyway, what annoys me is how life is simple in Sims. You advance too quickly..in careers and stuff. -Kirby.

(I swear my cousin got on my account. No lie, just a confirmation here.)

I hate how they announce the death of a townie, then you sadly reply "Aww! How come I wasn't there at the death?"

Now, what REALLY angers me:

Plus, this may be the .001% Stereotypical Annoying Teenage Girl coming out in me, but I get ANGRY when the cute guy townies are going out with an ugly girl..like that ugly Amy Bull chick from Twinbrook!! What's worse is when there are stories in where the mismatched couple (hot guy, ugly girl) have kids together. And they enjoy it. And the horrid comments like,

"They're made for each other!" The guy's made for me, while the girl is stuck with her reflection.

"The girl is soo pretty!" Yeah, she's pretty.........pretty ugly!

"They're kids are adorable!" Shame half of their genetics in the shallow gene pool need Chlorox. They need another mother who is actually pretty.

I know this is probably off topic some and maybe you were making some sort of statement.  I kinda wish RL was like the sims world.  Sims don't have the concept of what people look like and seem perfectly happy to be in a relationship with someone that is not a Barbie doll or Ken.  Sims apparently like their partners for who they are and not what they look like, which does not happen too much in RL.  Not quite sure what you were getting at, but it did sound kind of cruel and you probably didn't mean it that way, but that is the way it sounded.  Just my opinion.
Is it true that cannibals don't eat clowns because they taste funny?

@SaltyPaws and Simstar:

My 9 year old cousin posted that.

I deleted it (I have family over) and she has that kinda view on SIms 3: Wishing it was Real Life. She plays it with me.

Again..sorry. I forgot to logout. I just noticed this thread in the Unread section (I was out from my family..again sorry). And sincere apologies. The post was removed, an replaced with my actual perspective.

@Kirby- I'm glad that you deleted it. My account is logged in full time- so if my sister gets mad at me I always log out since I don't want her to come on here and start posting weird things.

Back on topic-
What annoys me is I had a pair of twins go to prom. The shy, loner gets prom queen and a new romantic interest when she only had one friend. The social butterfly flirty one had 5 friends and got in a fight and was rejected for a dance. ???

Sometimes, I'll get on the website to find i'm already logged on which was the possible case. This also annoys me, I guess.  lol.

I've never had a teen sim have misfortune sim get beaten up at a prom! Is it determined by traits or wheter their classmates like them? My teens always become Prom Queen and walk out with new eye candy. Her traits were "Schmoozer, Never Nude, Hopeless Romantic, and Natural Cook" (It was Lolly Racket by the way).

One thing that annoys me is the misspelling of common names.  Like, in my current game, there's a Jeffery (should be Jeffrey) and a Jeromy (which should be Jeremy).  I don't know if they're trying to be "cute" with the names or if someone really doesn't know how to spell common names.

I was a little taken aback by that post your cousin made too, actually, but I thought 'eh'. I am considered good looking by some, and my husband, well, not so good looking. I remember one of his mates commenting - wondering how 'such an ugly b**d' could get such a hot chick while the rest of them are still single. That attitude, I tell you is probably the reason why! The answer to the question: Guys that aren't as good looking have to make up for it in the personality department, and generally aren't such arrogant jerks as those who rely on their looks.

I think many of us can be shallow to some degree when it comes to choosing a partner - it's just where we draw the line. Sims 3 didn't take looks into account (even though sims 2 did) but they do care about money and personality clashes. Money and personailty is less controversial than being turned off, for example, by someone with different skin/hair/eyes etc. and probably a much safer route for EA to take than in sims 2.
