Things that annoy you in the Sims
« Reply #600 on: March 20, 2012, 05:41:29 PM »
I hate that the new Katy Perry hair that came with Showtime if you got the Collecter's addition can only be used for everyday.

Is that what it is! I thought I had a glitch.

I hate the thought of a Katy SP. Nausea and hallucinations galore.

I'm not into that stuff either. I'm waiting for an ordinary EP to come out, at a nicer (lower) price. I don't need the extras it comes with. I'm not likely to use the simport feature, so it's not going to add much new game play for me. I did consider getting it for the advantage in challenges, but I'm broke right now anyway.

I get annoyed with myself for feeling that I need to have all the stuff packs and every Ep as soon as they come out. I also own far too much store stuff. My Sims have more clothes then they could possibly wear but every month I am like ooh shinny and the next thing I know there I am at the store buying a new skirt for my Simmies.

I think I might just have an addiction.

Same here. I am missing 2 stuff packs that I don't even need and it bugs me so much that I will probably get them anyway. And I don't have any money on the sims store so whenever I see something I want (like that baby swing!) I am practically drooling. I'm actually thinking of adding money to my account even though my family isn't exactly rich.

Agreed with both of you.

I miss when TS2 SP's were worth buying. Despite the "60 items only" rule, they were amazing..like an EP for architecture. I don't own SPs but all appeal to me except Town Life and the potential KP one.

EDIT: stupid autocorrect.

The idea of a Katy Perry stuff pack does not appeal to me at all but I will still probably end up getting it,if there is one, because otherwise I will have a gap in my collection. See I have a problem  :o.

It appeals to me, because I like frivolous childish themed furniture and decor in my Sims game, and I love Katy Perry. (I do have the childish trait after all ;))

You know what really bugs me though? You guys know the pretty strapless dress, in Generations, with the bow in the center, and it's pleated/layered? It's really annoying that YA-Adults can have it as a choice for everyday and formal, but teens only have it for everyday wear. Are you kidding me? That dress is very appropriate for a teen's prom, with some black tights and the Converse Chuck Taylor's.  :(

I know right? Maybe there's a mod or something out there that could make everyday hair and dresses into formal or whatever.

Pretty sure there is a mod out there that allows all clothes and hairstyles in every category. :) But then again, there are mods out there for almost every thing on this thread that people have said annoys them, but that doesn't mean we're all going to install them all! I think I'll stick with ErrorTrap and OverWatch and that'll be more than enough for me. ;D

I agree with Rachel about feeling the need to get every EP and SP. Part of the reason, for me, is that I've always been a jealous person and I've always hated the fact that I can't afford as much as some people. TS3 has always served as my escape from reality to help me cope with things, and not having all that's available for my sims is almost like a reminder that I have less than a lot of people. For example, something that really irritates me is when people who have perfectly fine graphics/computers demand a better system just because of, say, a tiny bit of lag. I've always had my game be very laggy since day 1, and I have to put up with it for probably the rest of my simming days.
I currently have everything up to and including TLS, I have got Pets but it isn't installed because my graphic chipset can't handle it. That alone really irritates me, and I suppose it ties into what Wednesday said about the system requirements. Even if I do get the computer I want for my birthday, which will be quite a stretch money-wise, we can only afford something that will be pretty average, and that annoys me so much. But at the same time, I know I'll be very grateful for at least being able to install Pets and then get Master Suite Stuff, Showtime and the rest of the SPs and EPs to follow, even if I'm not playing with the best of graphics. Having the whole collection means a lot to me, as silly as it sounds. :P

I thought there was a cheat that unlocked all outfits for all occasions (so you could wear formal as everyday, also unlocks things like time machine wear so you could have a suit of armor as formal, caveman fur for a work out gear etc.)  I don't think  you need a mod for that... unless that's one of those cheats that EA has but you need a Mod to unlock it since its not available for everyone.

It annoys me that since my fresh install, I've had 3 meteors in one day of playtime and now I have to go run my autoclean mod to get rid of the dirty surroundings. :/

A sim with no body skill wakes up to catch a burglar outside her door.  She fights with him outside and, surprisingly, she wins.  What does he do?  Goes in the house and steals something.  Does he get caught?  No.  So stupid.

Had that happen before. Very annoying!

Right now with Showtime, I'm annoyed at the crap people throw at my sim. Some are OK, like bubble bath, others are mean, like rotten eggs. Wish I knew who threw them!

I hate how if your a singer, you can sing great on the stage. But on an audition you sound way off tune. I also hate that a when you audition for a proprietor. They can act like they love it and still tell you ''your not what we want''. I also hate you audition for a proprietor like a Sing-A-Gram, but on stage you sing like your suppose to. I also hate that you can could great on stage and you get a bad review.
We are of peace, always but this is war.
We are of peace, always.
We'll help build a resistance. We have to fight.

When all you've ever loved has been stolen from you, sometimes all you have left is revenge.
For the truly wronged, satisfaction can be found in one of two places,  absolute forgiveness or mortal vindication. This is not a story about forgiveness. When deception cuts this deep, someone has to pay.

I hate how all the songs are the same for all voice tracks. This disappointed me, alot. I thought each voice track for both genders would get their own songset. >.>
