I turn down many celeb opportunities.  My sim is already at level 7 in atheletics; so why should she "work out"? She knows almost everyone in town, so why should she go out of her way to befriend someone? I just cancel them.

Also, celebrities. Period. I'm almost tempted to uninstall LN because of it. I hate that there's not really any way to avoid getting at least one star by some point in your sim's lifespan, and I hate even more that you can't sort of 'opt out' of being a celeb. And let's not talk about the fifty million phone calls asking you to 'befriend so and so', 'work out for 4 hours' or 'eat at the Bistro'. GO AWAY.

Just accept one celebrity opportunity and never fulfill it. That way you won't get those invitations anymore (as long as your sim doesn't move to another house).

I recently had a fire in my household.

So,they of course freak out because of a fire and then hop right into it and get burned! I mean you'd think they'd stay a safer distances away.
I also really just hate that they drop everything they are doing to go see the fire. Then the family got in the way of the firefighters so the fire got even worse.  ::) Regardless, I'm upgrading everything to fireproof if possible, haha.

Yeah same here. I had a pregnant sim and I told her to go outside, but no she came back in... It also took me a while before I could get a sim to call the firefighters (forgot the smoke alarms... oops). It seems that when it comes to fires they freak out and think the closer I am to danger the father I am from harm or something like that... Oh well no one died yet, so that is good.

I never understood this: Why do Sims stand there and freak out in a fire, instead of just run outside for safety?

That part was really annoying! Not the fire, but the "OMG FIRE!!! WERE ALL GONNA DIE!!!" panic mode.

I think the whole "OMG SHE'S GOING INTO LABOR/FIRE/BUGLER WERE ALL GONNA DIE!!!" panic state is the most annoying thing Sims could do by far!

Yes, definitely! That should totally only be restricted to neurotic sims.

Not to mention that in a large household, all those sims panicking around the fire could easily block the firefighter from reaching the flames and potentially cause a lot of a damage to the home and harm to the family!

I absloutly agree! I think most of those annoying interactions should be left to neurotic and dramatic Sims only! The same thing should apply with vegetarian Sims: Only if the vegetarian is neurotic or dramatic, should they get sick from eating meat!

I agree! In my dynasty file my sculptor caught fire, and everyone gathered round her waving their arms so she couldn't get to a shower. Luckily they all moved in time in the end, but still. My second gen went into labour outside the theatre and it seemed like half the town turned up to freak out about it.

Celebrities are actually one of the things putting me off getting Late Night (I'm also not sure how well my computer would handle Bridgeport, as I've heard it's not the easiest world to run). I have enough trouble getting my sims to not hassle the maid, let alone adding paparazzi to the mix.

Actually, add that to the list of annoying things. Sims hassling the maid when their social interaction is full and they have a queue of things to do. It seems like mine are always dropping queues to chat to the maid, and then the maid leaves without cleaning anything.

I've always had a huge problem with the babysitters and maids not doing their work in general, which leads me to be annoyed that the town doesn't offer a daycare that unemployed Sims can start on their own. *Pouts* I hope EA comes up with a new NPC in a future EP or SP that will drive those horrible babysitters out of business soon! The butler in LN putting the maids out of business is a start! I think the maids have been downgraded since Sims 3. In Sims 2 the maids actually do their jobs!

I wantto add one more thing to my list...

BIRTHDAYS.

EVERYONE in the house stops what they're doing (sleeping, cooking, cleaning, homework, etc) to go and make ALOT of noise around the sim that is aging up.

I HATE IT.
hahaha

What I don't like is that some of the rabbit holes are absloutly unnecessary. I can see the stadium, school, military base, hospital, theater, police station, and criminal warehouse, even the science center! But, I'm annoyed that the restaurants, Spa, Grocery Store, Book Store and the Studio are rabbit holes. I mean you have the Consignment Store and a Sim can purchase and eat food on vacation, so that tells me, that EA should open those rabbit holes I mentioned in future EP's.

They probably have the Spa, Grocery Store, Bookstore, and Studio as rabbit holes because you can get a job there and they don't want those to be like the jobs that came with Ambitions because not everyone would be able to use them then.
If at first you don't succeed, call it version 1.0.

I can understand where your going with this. However, I'm just annoyed that your Sims can't interact and play with their food while going out to eat.

I think it can be done with patchwork though. They'll most likely all function like the Bartender and bouncer from LN and the cashier in WA, AMB and Pets. The tables, would work like sitting together at home, the servers would serve food like LN does.

Another one for me is seeing all the sims running around town still wearing their work uniforms. They should change when they get home from work.
A clear conscience is usually a sign of a bad memory.
