Overalls. When I was playing a Dynasty in Riverview it seemed like 2/3 of the male sims that weren't original townies were wearing the overalls that came with the Riverview download.
I totally agree! I love Riverview, but the overalls just ruin it for me. It's okay if a minority of townies to be wearing it, but not the majority. I like to use the overalls if I'm making a farmer Sim, but that's quite rare.

Being a Super Mario Bros. fan I like to overalls. I was Luigi for Halloween. :D
Back on topic: When you think of an awesome house to build in class but can’t remember it when you have access to the game.
Or better yet: When you have an idea but it can’t be well-translated into The Sims 3.

EDIT: I just now re-realized I have a hatred for collars on long-haired cats and dogs. Goodness, it makes them look like they’re choking! I’ve never seen a cat or dog with their fur spread out like that, it normally just covers the collar.

“You ought to upgrade to Windows 7!”, they said. “It’ll help your games run so much better!”, they said. If I see them again, then they had better know how to stabilize an on-the-fritz copy of The Sims 3 that was working just fine on Windows XP.

Right now my homeless teen is annoying me with homework, money is tight and so I send her to collect things but while in the middle of nowhere after picking something up she'll decide she must do her homework which I cancel as I have more collectables queued up, she will then walk to the road and get in a taxi then travel half way across town to be near another random teen before she puts her homework down and cancels the action.

At this point she is so far away from where she started I can't be bothered to waste the time to go all the way back.

I had something similar, in that as soon as my twin teens got off the school bus, I cued them several tasks starting with "Do Homework" and they both cycled all the way over to the Performance Park to sit at the picnic table there to do their homework.  There was no current performance either!  Grrrr.

I had a sim reach level 10 of the science career for the first time, and his carpool vehicle is the Sloppy Jalopy. Ugh.

If your sim so much as kisses another sim, they get locked into a relationship...which is highly annoying. TS2 seemed a lot smoother to me as far as relationships go, it didn't try to force your sims into a monogamous lifestyle. I could do the twenty sims woohoo wish on TS2 and not have any trouble settling into a steady relationship afterwards....not in TS3. Just recently in a game my near elder sim was accused of cheating...for a brief fling she had as a young adult before she even met her current partner. My sims shouldn't have to be apologizing for one night flings they had twenty years ago...or however long ago it was.

My sim was just accused of cheating on her husband. With her ex-fiance. Who's been dead for longer than she's been romantic with her husband.

Yeah, this reputation system is a blunder, to put it lightly.

The prom romance thing is also annoying, until I started my dynasty i'd only had kids go with their boyfriend/girlfriend or romantic interest so it wasn't an issue. But my first two dynasty kids went alone, I turned down a date for the oldest as I didn't want a forced romance with the guy who asked her but what I didn't know is it pushes somebody at you anyway.

They both left with romantic interests, her sister lucked out as hers was really nice and they married, he was a babysitter though and skipped a generation in age unfortunately.

Because of this i've always made my self sim ask her date but last night I decided to see if she got asked, she didn't curse him  >:( so I sent her alone and once inside I saw a random generated babysitter heading towards the door and reset him. Instantly I got a message saying she had been refused a dance by her crush so would dance alone for the rest of the night, lucky escape.

I would have been so cross though if the game had made her have a bad rep because she didn't go to prom with her romantic interest. Why it can't just check relationships and use those I don't know, my second gen dynasty heir went with his aunt and she gave him his first kiss as well, all very wrong.

I had a sim end up at prom with her half sister, and then the romance thing started. I was like...uhhh no that's not happening.

Full of annoyances lately, latest one skinny dipping in public pools.

If one sim does it they all start doing it, I don't mind the hot tubs but why did they add it to swimming pools as well, i'm always grateful when there's a minor on the lot as it stops the naked plague.

Now I wonder if seasons will have skinny dipping in the ocean.

Dear all sims, calling at three in the morning to ask for a date is a sure fire way to be rejected.  Thanks, Mgmt.

Let’s keep our fingers crossed in that not happening.

With how infrequently I play it’s a pain having to update all my mods every single time there’s an update. I actually skipped updating day before yesterday so that I wouldn’t have to until later.

I also really hate how you have to rely on the police to get your stolen stuff back. Next time I call the police I’ll be beefing up their Athletic skill with MasterController before they do anything.

No. I've already sent a Sim to swim in the ocean - only the Swim interaction. Besides, EA would have to check if there's a Minor on the lot, and when they're swimming in the ocean, the lot they're swimming on is technically all of the world. :P
