I am usually not too bothered by toilets and such breaking so easy since after you've repaired 10 of them they become unbreakable by the next time they break down :D

Then upgrade them to self cleaning and you have a item that never breaks and never needs cleaning.  ;)

I thought you could only have one or the other not both when it comes to self cleaning and unbreakable.

If you do the upgrades manually, that's true, but if you complete the Plumber skill challenge (repair 10 plumbing items) anything you fix after that gets a "hidden trait" of Unbreakable that does stack with the Self-Cleaning upgrade. Putting Unbreakable on your plumbing fixtures manually is kind of a waste.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned fire yet. Not the fact that it happens, but that Sims seem to think that the best way to respond is to go panic right next to the fire. At least in TS3, if I send them across the street to safety, they don't come running right back like in TS2.

And... I don't hate it, but it certainly can be interesting/frustrating what traits the game picks for NPCs... I hired a butler who I found out to be a Klepto. At least he only took the TV and not one of my large gems or compendium ingots.

Finally, might be a glitch, but anybody else notice that if a Sim has a Harvester in their inventory, they can't go into a pool? I learned that one the hard way when my inventor caught on fire - I sent him to extinguish himself, and when he got to the ladder he refused to get in, saying that the Harvester was in his way. (Thank the Great Llama for the unlucky trait, or I would've lost him.)

I thought items were sucked into a magical portal called "inventory", not being carried in pockets.  :) Never heard of that, pepper. So, no harvester, but we can swim with gold ingots and cameras?

The child abuse in this game is ridiculous. Does anyone else install nurseries everywhere it is realistic to? The only places I don't are junkyards, fire stations and sleazy bars.

I do that to. Sometimes I switch on cheat just so I can add crib, potty, high chair and toys when my Sim visit a family with an overtired toddler that lack all of these things.

It also annoys me when I play with vampires and when I'm not looking they either go out to drink their plasma outside, or read or something and then just sit/stand around until they get the "sick from the sun moodlet" and I order them to move inside.

I hate using the baby sitters, I either let the parents have works with working hours that means that somebody is always at home. That or I just let one of them take unpaid time off until it turns into a child.

It annoys me that the toddlers can't tell the adults that they are hungy and such even when they have learned to speak. Also I think they should be able to wander off when they have learned to walk or crawl away when their parents just plonks them down on the ground and ignores them to chat with their friends.

It annoys me how this game just throws money at your sims... especially some of the celeb opportunities where you disappear in the theater/movie studio rabbithole for a couple of hours and then come with +5k simoleans. I'm really surprised people use cheats to make money in this game.

I like playing legacy's, but by the time my 1st generation dies I already have enough simoleans to build a proper mansion with all bells and whistles. Would be nice if you could actually slowly build your way up there through the generations.

Your sim gets a call from someone wanting to hang out with the options of at My Place or No Thanks. You tell them at my place then they never show up. I don't think I've ever had a sim show up to hang out after the call.
When they call wanting to hang out and the options are I'll come over or No Thanks and I select I'll come over I always go so why don't they come over.

It annoys me when you try to invite over a Sim, they agree and say they'd love to come over, five sim minutes later and they are ringing back "I can't make it something came up" that is so irritating, or when they say they are out and you go to their house and oh look who is home.  ::)

It annoys me when my Sim, now a 5-star celebrity, is constantly getting calls from his agent to eat at the bistro. He's gotten it like 20 times already.  That and when he threw a bachelor party, and the only one to show up, was the party dancer.
