Best Thing to Feed Omni Plant for Money

I have never been able to feed it money bags and my highest harvested money bag was $1108.00.  I don't know if anyone else has been successful in feeding the omni plant money bags though.

So I know that that one Chinese book is worth like 2,500 simoleans, but Metro mentioned you can feed it money bags.

Well, to be honest, I've never fed an Omni plant a money bag. But, I'm quite sure I read that you could do it. It may be in Carl's Gardening Guide.

I just tested the money bag theory and you can NOT feed money bags to the omni plant.

Nope.  No money bag feedings for the Omni Plant.  You can feed it fish, fruit/vegetables, books (but not recipe books), and some toys.  I think that's all it will take.

Okay, so now that my first question has been answered, if you feed fish or fruits/vegetables to a putrid omni plant, will the quality of the produce be different from what was fed to the omni plant?

Actually, the quality of fruits and vegetables deteriorate no matter the quality of the Omni plant.  Except maybe a perfect Omni plant.  However, the quality of fish stays the same.

Okay, thanks for the information. I probably won't feed the omni plant a fruit or vegetable, since you can already grow those, but I wanted to know just in case!

Right now I have two mature omni plants.  I fed them fish and frogs, that was funny to see that hanging from a plant.  My question is, I can fertilize, but now the option to feed does not come up anymore.  So do I dispose or just wait to see.  I finally got the opportunity for the steaks, so I can get some more seeds, that will be a first, I got these plants from buydebug cheat, only because I had never had omni plants and wanted to see how it worked.

The option to feed again will come when you have harvested what is currently on the plant.

That is just it, there is nothing on the plant, that is what is so strange.  I will get my new seeds soon, so not real concerned at this point.

You can feed and get your first harvest when it is fully grown, after that you can only feed it new things when you have harvested the plant.

What options do you get when you click on the plant?  I'm wondering if it might act differently because you used the buydebug cheat.  The public Omni plants don't always let you feed them, either.

I get check diet, dispose, talk to plant and that is it.  You may be right about the cheat, will have to wait and see when I get the seeds.

I seem to remember when I fed the Science Facillity Omni Plant in Sunset Valley that I had to check diet or something first? I fed it with a fish I think.
