Best Thing to Feed Omni Plant for Money

So, I'm wondering what people's opinions (or facts if you have them) are on what the best thing to feed the omni plant for money is. If I want to gain the most money from my omni plant, what should I feed it? I've heard that the books in China are really good, but what is the best thing?

The most expensive book in China is Dragon Ripple, I believe.  I don't recall the exact price, but I believe it's around $2,500.  The most expensive book in your home town would also be good until you can get to Shang Simla.  I like to use Death Fish on my Omni plants, but they really aren't nearly as valuable as the books unless you happen to get a Perfect Death Fish that's valuable.

Yes, Dragon Ripple is available in the base camp in one of the 2 bookcases there.

I tried to get my Sim to keep a copy of Dragon Ripple when he read it at the book store in Shang Simla, but it didn't work.  He set it down and left it.

What is an Omni plant?

It's a unique plant that comes about as a result of receiving Omni Seeds at the tail end of the restaurant Gardening Skill Opportunity. There are 3 of these Opportunities. I haven't planted many Omni plants myself, but what makes it unique is you can fertilize it with all sorts of things from your Inventory -- books, fish, money bags, etc. And as a result, the fruit the plant bears can be quite varied and valuable.

For the Omni plant, you feed it those items that Metro mentions and fertilize it with your normal fertilizers, like garlic so that it produces well and often.

Ha. That tells you right there how often I've done Omni plants! Right, there's feeding and fertilizing and I got the two mixed up.

Hi all...I'm really a happy camper as I finally got my omni plant.  Since this is the first time I'm a little confused.  I have the option to fertilize but when does the option come up to feed?  The plants are still sprouts.

Another thought...would you be able to feed them the receipe Ambrosia?

The omni plant will not take recipe books and you can start feeding it when it is mature.

So I know that that one Chinese book is worth like 2,500 simoleans, but Metro mentioned you can feed it money bags. If a money bag is worth more than 2,500 wouldn't it be better, or can money bags not reach that amount?
