It's 6:10pm here, no sign on the store of anything, they are having a Multiple Daily Deal Day but that seems to be it, oh and new Additional Gameplay - Windchimes.  No signs of anything on facebook either.

I have Sim points to spend and nothing to spend them on. I am not a happy shopper.

Just checked the countdown wall on Facebook and at 17.41 UK time The Sims 3 commented that they are 'Sorry for the delay. We are working on getting this up soon'

EDIT:  I think that I am going to wait anyways and I also think that by the time that they get it on line the site may crash, due to the number of people trying to download it!

I'm waiting till I hear of possible bugs in the town (you know, like the routing in Bridgeport, etc.) to get the town, so I know what to prepare myself for, hehe.

The town is ready for download, if anyone is interested and it is $22.50 on sale.  Reduced 200 sim points until 9/23.  Enjoy.  I am waiting around for a few days before I download.

My sister just downloaded it and was showing me some of the families.  Quite a few have alot of money and I do see a couple of interesting stories to be had in this town.
