Repo Man Question
« on: February 08, 2010, 02:59:35 PM »
I'm kicking around my final game plan for the upcoming Team Upgrade Race challenge and was wondering — what if you ignore bills that come due, the repo man shows up, and there is absolutely nothing on your lot but the mailbox and the trash can? Is the amount due still deducted from your Household Funds?

Good question, but I have no idea.  I've only had the repo man come once and it was because I forgot to pay the bills.

It's more of a curiosity thing that I thought of simply because my team in that challenge won't be on their lot practically at all. And if they don't ever need to return to pay bills, all the better. Hmmmm....now that I think about it, I'm not sure if I actually want to test this out and have the Repo Man show up and swipe some of my team's equipment while they're mobile.

If you're trying to test what happens when the repo man comes to an empty lot, there shouldn't be any equipment there.

Yeah, I figured as much. I just didn't know if someone had a firm answer.

One time my bills were overdue and the repo lady warning came up...but I put all my stuff in the family inventory before she arrived. Repo lady showed up to an empty house, looked stupefied, and then left without taking anything. I paid the bills and then put all my stuff back down on the lot afterward.

Or you could just take the "No Bills Ever" reward for what, a measly 5 or 10 thousand lifetime happiness points?

Yeah, after playing the game and checking, I realized that it is 15,000. Thanks for the correction!
