Palladium and Heart Cut Pink Diamond !

I want to make a Simbot. I have some life fruits, but I don't know what Palladium and heart cut diamond looks like. And how can I find them?
Do I need something else to make a Simbot?

There is a map on the guide here- http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/sunsetvalley/ that will show high metal and pink diamond spawn locations.  You need to get the pink diamond and have it cut into the heart shape, and also collect the palladium you need.  I know you can find them both in Sunset Valley by using the map but I don't know where to find them in other towns.  You also need the scrap to build your simbot. Just adding onto that, to be able to get the pink diamond cut into a heart shape, you need to have collected 10 unique gems. This is very easy if you have World Adventures, as there's extra gems in game.
Also, collecting them means you actually have to find them and have the same sim pick them up. Buying them from the Consignment Store doesn't work.

I believe if it is your first time, you get that opportunity, everything should be displayed on the map (location of metals and gems) and you'll send them to sci-lab, only after that you will have to find them by yourself.

You'll have an opportunity chain that instructs you to get exactly the things you need for a SimBot.  There will be a tag in Map View that will show you the location of the Palladium and pink diamond.  They are both very rare, so it may take several days before one turns up.  Go to Map View a few times during each Sim day and search around the map for the tag.  The Palladium will look like any other piece of metal you find, and the pink diamond will like like all the other uncut gems except it will have spots of pink color.

Just a note: gems found with the miner don't count as collected, just the ones you pick from the floor, but the miner is the easiest way to get the pink diamond itself; besides you can make some good money with it.
