I don't know if anyone else uses the "fog emitter" to create effects, but this patch seems to have broke it. The rain was not touching the ground and the rats were flying. Also, it seems all my lot pictures have turned back to front.

I get Disc Authorization Failure... When I launced Town Life Stuff without updating, it worked, now it doesn't... I have a lot of EPs and SPs and really don't want to reinstall :S Any help?

Do you have the Town Life Stuff disc in your drive?

I don't have the original... (Good news, The Sims 3 come to my country in October, the EPs... I have NO idea :S)

But it worked before the update...

Since the update my sim gets stuck at work until I cancel (no pay ) if Itell her to 'hang with co-workers'. Her performance meter doesn't go up. Her relationships with them don't go up. She's a workaholic and ambitious, but that's never caused issue before (On one occasion I challenged myself to reach lvl 10 career in 10 days - it's do-able provided you keep on top of requirements and are besties with your boss. If you performance is about 3/4 or more, you can ask for a promotion successfully under all those conditions).

I also had the photography bug, but cancelling my sim's opportunity fixed that (I did a game and computer restart and cleared caches first though, and none of that worked).

Just as I was affraid. I patched the game without any problems, error messages etc. I even started it to check lots I installed (that was the reason I updated the game). But when I wanted to load the world I'm working on, CAW just give me a message saying it can't load the file. And it can't load ANY version of that world. It opened some other worlds but this one - not. So I backed up all versions I need, uninstalled CAW, downloaded latest version of it from official site an hour ago, just in case, and install it. When wanted to start CAW after fresh install it said game version is not compatible with CAW version. So I uninstall it again, tried to install it second time, this time I got error with worldtool.exe file and installation is aborted.
I'm mad at the moment.

We aren`t allowed to talk about modifications here, do that at the site they are hosted on. The rules here aren`t hard to read or follow! -_-

The reason you're not finding any help with that is that we don't do support on mods. I deleted the names of specific mods from your post.

Anyway, I think you're probably mistaken that the mod in question is updated because the patch is only about a week old. Why don't you check with the site hosting the mod?

Question for everyone. I need to patch up for the challenge Mad Max, and what I've read here scares me. Should I patch up, or just withdraw from the challenge?
