Yikes. That's awful Carl. Those people should lose their license or whatever allows them to continue messing up peoples hard work.  :'(

I just got off the phone with the company and they're initiating the transfer now. We may yet avoid any downtime, which is great news given all the headaches this situation caused. I think it should be good by tomorrow no matter what happens!  8)

In the end the people treated worst by all this were the Medieval players wanting the guide. That site has had serious problems the last week.

I assure you I'll be leaving things alone for a long time after this! It'll be great to have things back to normal. We have awesome uptime and I'd like to maintain that by keeping it alive for a year with no significant outages.

Thank you everyone for your support through it all. I think that things were taken care of fast enough that nothing too bad can happen. I find myself glad that the first site went down so that I had ample warning time. Cheers to my friend for helping things to move even faster.  ;)

I just discovered your Medieval guide last week and must say that I am thoroughly impressed.  Not with the content, although that is amazing too, but with the rapid response to all the issues that have been going on this last week.  I'm sure all the chaos has left you eating Tums like it's candy but you've kept everyone up to date through the entire thing.  And you've done so yourself whenever possible instead of letting it be relayed from another source.

In short, DUDE YOU ROCK!  ;D

Thanks! I try to stay on top of any problem here. This is my little corner of the net and I try to do things right to keep it running smoothly. I'm glad you like my work. I plan to cover the medieval expansion coming up, along with Pets so we'll be around a long, long time. Welcome to the forum :)
