I just got off the phone with the company and they're initiating the transfer now. We may yet avoid any downtime, which is great news given all the headaches this situation caused. I think it should be good by tomorrow no matter what happens!
In the end the people treated worst by all this were the Medieval players wanting the guide. That site has had serious problems the last week.
I assure you I'll be leaving things alone for a long time after this! It'll be great to have things back to normal. We have awesome uptime and I'd like to maintain that by keeping it alive for a year with no significant outages.
Thank you everyone for your support through it all. I think that things were taken care of fast enough that nothing too bad can happen. I find myself glad that the first site went down so that I had ample warning time. Cheers to my friend for helping things to move even faster.
