Copy to Library for Dummies
« on: July 24, 2011, 06:55:55 AM »
Hello everyone,

I'm new here and I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere. I want to copy some of the households from one town to another and I think that I have it correct but I want to make sure before I mess up something  :'(
I need to go  into the town & the edit town where I want a copy of the househould then copy to library (without the house) and is that all? Please use plain terms for dummies since I am new at this and don't know all of the abbreviations.  Thanks so much

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Everything you said is correct but there are a few more steps.
1.After the steps you mentioned, double-check that the family are in the library.
2. When you start the new game in the new town head to press 'Move in Household'.
3.Select your family and choose where you want them to live.
If you need anything else just ask and someone will help you, I can guarantee that!

Could you please change the font on your text, it's hard to read.
But yeah, do what Thomas told you to do!

Hi Mahtab
I removed the formatting in your post.
No need to mess around with the font or colors. Just leave it like it is, it's easier to read. ;)
