Now that I'm starting to feel less exhausted, I'd love to attend the Forum Birthday Bash being hosted by Schip! Huge thank you to Schip for opening her home to us. *Feels shamelessly happy to be living in the same city as Schip and can therefore sleep in her own bed at night.*
I would like to welcome you all to the small and humble apartment I share with my husband, and soon to be baby #1, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Careful as you come in, the entrance is a little tight. There should be enough room for about 10 pairs of shoes and coats in the closet. Although, coat space shouldn't be an issue in August. There is plenty of seating in the living room with floor space for a bunch more if necessary. Please feel free to admire my brick red corduroy couch set, when I saw it I just had to have it! Don't mind the crochet projects and blankets on the floor, they keep my hands busy while I'm watching TV. My latest project I just started yesterday, is going to be a baby afghan for our little one due in February. There's a massive pitcher of iced tea in the fridge (a staple in my house year round) and if you're really lucky there might be some homemade apple pie in there too. For entertainment, after we get bored of gushing over the novelty of meeting everyone and talking about TS3, I can offer our TV (though the movie selection barely qualifies as such) or the Mac laptop in the office. My husband will probably be home in the evening and he will keep to himself playing games on the PC in the office. Feel free to say hi to him if you wander in there.
We do have an outdoor patio area off the living room if it isn't too warm, stormy, or humid outside. Outdoor entertainment consists of watching the neighbourhood kids running around and playing games with one another. There is a small park area in the middle of the parking lot that has shade and a couple picnic tables if you feel like wandering over that way.
Oh, and please park your cars on the street (good luck) as the large parking lot next door belongs to a church that has functions almost every evening, and they'll need the space.
