Whee, a party!

This is my simself in my living room (or at least as close as I could get it) in Plymouth, MA USA.

My husband would join in the fun, but he's at work like usual.  Until Pets comes out later this year you can't really see the rest of my family:  a golden retriever, a Newfoundland, 3 cats, 11 chickens, and a turtle.

My specialty is lasagna, so I'll bring a couple of big trays of it for us to enjoy.

I heard there was a party? I, like, have to go! *switches on laptop* I can make a good chilli and some Welsh Cakes or fairycakes, yum!

You're here already? I-I-I haven't tidied... *quiet voice* ...I never tidy...

And just to prove it, here's a shot of my my Simself's room:

A great party room, no? Well, it's one of the Scottish party venues, on this virtual tour of the SimWorld! I should have made the living room with the tartan blanket *sigh*

This Simself took me quite a while to make, and looks nothing like me ;D The room does look like mine, though!

I sat here thinking, "he's twins?  Really?" before finally realizing it was a mirror!  Haha.  Like I said, not quite awake yet.  Can't wait to see what other creative ideas people will come up with.

A mirror? Ah, it is that you said it was, otherwise I wouldn't see it myself.

Good day, fellow Simmers! Welcome to my humble abode..

It's almost time to celebrate the forum's second birthday! Please, come in..

This is my room in my family's small brick house found in Mississippi. Hopefully, my two teenage siblings do not barge in like they usually do when I have company. Make yourself comfortable; some of us can sit on the bed while one person uses the massage chair. ;) Pay no attention to the piles of laundry and strown books. Y'all can check the forum on my laptop, watch TV if there is anything on, or read from my small collection of novels. I bought some excellent nectar which will be delicious with the cheese plate that is in the kitchen. I hope you don't mind my casual outfit; I am wearing my favorite denim with a soft grey cotton tee.

I'm ready for the party. Are you??

To those who've posted about how long it takes to make a simself:  Would you believe I not only made Sim-me, but then went on to recreate the whole house?  I didn't really have to, the corner of the living room was all I planned to do, but once I got going I couldn't stop.  It took at least 3 or 4 hours altogether.

I already had a sim similar to my simself, but tweaked it some, the hair is spot on, but I fudged some on the shape, lol.  It took about 20 minutes, give or take a few minutes.

I built an exact replica of my sisters house where I am staying and do you think I could find it so I could use it, good grief. :)

Where's the TV? I thought that was a mirror on the wall.
Edit: nevermind, I see it now.

Yeah, it actually sits on my desk but that's the closest I could get. How else am I supposed to play the Wii/PS3/PS2 (used to be Xbox too) without being disturbed? :D Oh darn! I forgot the two macs in my bedroom! Or was it that there was no space, haha.

I'm surprised nobody noticed my completely co-ordinating bedroom...other than the wardrobe. Everybody points it out, lol.

I don't think I'll be able to party, but I'd greatly appreciate if some Amy Winehouse songs would be played, as "Tears Dry on Their Own" and going "Back to Black" is just "A Losing Game".

I was a huge fan of hers. I couldn't help but include a tribute, somehow.

Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.  A long drive from Miami, but do-able.  I think I need to negotiate with SimAir to see if they'll give a special deal, considering all the Sim Travellers coming to this party!

Hmm, so if I'm coming from Ontario, does that mean I get a discount?  :P

And I heard about Amy Winehouse. I wasn't a huge fan, but that's still, sad, regardless. :(

I bet Australia is beautiful. Are there like kangaroos jumping around? Or do you live far from where they are?
Australia is beautiful, although when it rains in Winter it sucks. It's actually raining as I write this! I live in the suburbs and don't see any kangaroos, (Imagine kangaroos bouncing down the street!) but when I go to my cousin's the kangaroos sometimes come up to the porch! It's awesome!

So I decided to tag along. It's a party, how could I resist? Plenty of Rap Hip Hop and R&B to dance to ya know. Can Charlie Sheen come too? *crickets* I guess that's a no... :(

You do realized how many people demanded for their Similions back after he was on stage for ten minutes at the Fox Theatre right? I think 90% of Detroit's population has the No Sense of Humor Trait. *Pouts* Thanks Detroit for ruining my fun.

Well anyways, welcome to my backyard. I'm quite childish, so I had to bring out the Slip n Slide. I hope there are childish guests at this party. Yes, that's a blue leopard swimsuit. I have many different leopard swimsuits, but none with a basic leopard pattern. Detroit's been hot these past couple weeks, so it's a good thing I broke out the Slip n Slide.

Okay you can't get a good shot here, but try this one...

Yes it's leopard. Leopard has been my pattern of choice since the tender age of 10. I was a bit lazy on baking the cake, and seeing as how I always licked the bowl and spoon (still do actually), so I decided to make raw cake batter. (No eggs I promise). Not everyone will like it, so I decided to get some nachos. I had to be a diva about it though, since people fail to fulfill my simple request: NO MEAT! I'm defiantly not a snob. Just particular about what I order. The party platter people looked at me like a complete weirdo. As long as I get nachos with cheese sauce for my guests I'm good.

Did I show you the dress I picked out? What do you think?

My makeup looks like this when I'm not working.

I got plenty of Pop: Dr.Pepper, Coke, Pepsi, Sprite, Sierra Mist, Mountain Dew (My Favorite ;D) Kool Ade, and more.

I even got the Lofthouse Cookies. The soft sugar cookies with the frosting and sprinkles on top. Best store bought cookies ever.

Yes everyone that's Sim me. That's what I look like in real life. No CC was used in any of my Sims. If you want, I can upload my Charlie Sheen Sim to the Swap Shop.
