Scouting "badging ceremony"
« on: July 19, 2011, 10:29:02 PM »
I usually fast-forward through the ceremony since the whole family is stuck in a rabbit hole for a couple game hours - but last time, for whatever reason, I decided to listen to it. They actually recited the Girl Scout Promise ("On my honor, I will try..." ) and the Boy Scout Law ("A Scout is loyal...") in Simlish - and I swear one of the scouts asked the troop leader "Where do nooboos come from?" - which got a bit of a stammering response from the adult.

Maybe I'm easily amused, but that just made my day.

I completely missed that!

Now I'll have to listen to the badging ceremony.  I usually fast-forward through it too.

(As a former Girl Guide, that is a nostalgia moment right there.)
