If I am ever in control of my sims favourite music, I always pick the custom. I think it's so funny to watch my little sim family dancing to my own song. And I once put a recording from my phone of my little sister singing to Lady Gaga and sat and watched the sims dance to it: I am so sad. ::) But yeah, the Electronica is quite good and I like Indie. Oh gosh, the pop is horrible!

I flip flop between Pop and Classical depending on what I feel like hearing at the moment.  I'm a huge classical fan in real life and EA has actually selected some very nice examples of this genre for the game, but when I'm really into my game I can play for hours at a time and then I need to switch it up a bit or I'll go crazy.  Sometimes I just take my headphones off altogether and play songs from my iPhone.

The other thing that I really like is the song 'Ping and his Checkers' that your sims can learn from the locals in Shang Simla.  In my last dynasty several of my sims learned it and they would just randomly start singing it, especially when they were in the shower or bathtub.  Very cute!

Custom Music for me too, but the Indie and Classical stations are okay, I guess. The electronica is just a little bit creepy.

Haha, well it's the toddlers chanting that we have to be scared of... :D Seriously though, some Sim songs are creepy.

I usually set it to whatever it turns on to, because my game sound is on really low and I can't hear it over my music playing from my iTunes player.

Besides my own custom music, my favorite station is Roots.  I've even looked up the artists and songs on YouTube for the English versions.

Custom music now that I know how to set it up. Before that it was pop.

I even edit my sims friends and make their favorite station custom so if I visit them at home or go to a party and the radio is on it's on the custom station also.

Personally, the lyrics. Nimbo helba bob queek welp, for instance sounds like the sort of thing I'd hear in the nightmare I had recently.
