No group serving ambrosia?

I have finally for the first time believe it or not, made ambrosia for my elder sim and I then I decided that I should make a group meal and store it (it will remain perfect, it's that special fridge.) But I don't get the option to serve ambrosia for a group it only comes up for 'Have...' is this a glitch in my game or something normal? She maxed out her cooking skill of course, could it be there isn't enought death fish (10), or life fruits(12)? The people I will fed with this is 4 sims.

If you think about the significance of how Ambrosia resets a Sim's life stage, and the real potential chaos that could result from that if you wanted things to progress at a normal rate, then it was a very smart decision on part of the developers to make it single serving. That puts you in control as to who gets the benefit.

You can always use the food replicator. It's a lifetime reward that allows you to store food in it. When a Sim is making Ambrosia and reaches the bowl part, just cancel the action and choose to replicate the bowl. There you go, ten settings of Ambrosia

The settings is meant to be servings. It's just that I can't edit on a cell phone and there is no preview button.

Well that makes sense! Thanks Metro, I just don't like to cook in The Sims because they take hours! Imagine cooking 4 servings of ambrosia. (I am not very patient.)

I'll see if any of them have enough. I thought about that, I just couldn't get it.

EDIT, You can't replicate ambrosia.

When your sim makes ambrosia, you have to cancel the cooking process when they put it in the bowl.  They will set the bowl down and then you can click on the bowl and the option will come up to "replicate".
