Two Minor Bugs that Bug Me Out

So I've been playing my Random Wishmasters today and have noticed two annoying but non-game-breaking bugs. The first one seriously bugs me out and is there even after I restart the game. The second one is more of a new bug, as I've never noticed it before. So here we go:

1) When a Sim (doesn't matter if a guest or a household member) is playing computer games (on the cheapest computer, haven't tested on others) and I pause the game, the in-game computer's screen is still moving and its sounds are still heard. Also, it is playing at the highest volume possible, even if my camera is far from it. Really creepy.

2) My Sim got a wish to buy that thing that looks and acts much like slip 'n' slide. So I bought it from the Buy Mode. Again, the cheapest of two available. Afterward, she had a wish to slide with her partner. So I let them do that, too. Some time later, she got a wish to slide, this time alone. But when I clicked on the slip 'n' slide, the only option was "Join", however, nobody was using it so that she could "Join". It worked, though. But, there is a huge but. At the same time, her partner also got a wish to slide. Since she was using it already, I thought I'd make him join her. I tried, but it didn't work. The option didn't show up. After a few tries, I gave up. Bought a new slip 'n' slide and everything is fine again. However, they lost around a hundred simoleons because of the exchange (the first slip 'n' slide was rather old so it really depreciated in price).

Is there any way to fix these minor but annoying bugs? Thanks.

Well the first has been around forever. I don`t think it`s necessarily a bug, just how the game works, as not to overcomplicate the already vast amount of programming in the game thus slowing it down. Kind of like how music still sounds the same on fast forward.

Really? I've never seen it before personally, hm. I guess I'll go replace their computer with the high-end one and see if that helps. Assuming she's a non-Neurotic writer, she's relying on computer games most of the time so I really want to 'fix' it.

It`s the same on all of them. I think that the tv may do the same thing as well.

That only happens on the TV for me, but it does happen. I might have not noticed Computer Games because my Sims don't normally play on Computers.

I remember reading somewhere that the games your Sims play on computer or TV are real-life EA sports games.  Maybe they are so loud (and they really are LOUD) and continue to play even while the game is paused because it's some sort of (not-so) subtle product placement.

Happens to me too and like Carlos said, the first issue has been around for a long time.  The second issue, I have not had a problem with, but now that I have said, it probably will happen, lol.  It is annoying to have it on pause and everything keep playing, but, like you said, it is not a game breaker.  I am sure there are alot of things that happen to some and not to others.  I don't think there is anything we can do to fix it when it does happen.

Never had that problem with the slip n slide, but boy, does that computer drive me crazy!? It is very loud isn't it? It really drove me crazy while playing the wishmasters challenge recently, 8 sims in the house and at least 1 of them was always playing games on them (I had two computers). If it weren't for the fact that a lot of the 8 sims had writing wishes I'd have happily got rid of the computers.

Found a solution for the first problem, guys! The key is... get a high-end computer or a laptop. In-game, of course. I restarted the game, but the problem was still there when using the cheapest PC. However, no screen movement or loud sounds with the expensive one I got them. It seems like that's the punishment for getting a cheap computer. I haven't tested the second problem to see if it's still there, will do later.

It doesn't happen to me and I only buy the most expensive computers/TVs. But I have had it when I'm at the park and someone brought their laptop. I look around wondering where the sound is coming from, and then I see this sim that is moving back and forth looking at his computer. So, I've never had this bug at my home lot, only at the park.
