Chapter 4: Skills and Parenting
With Venus born, Mercury and Ayesha have their hands full taking care of her for the 3 days before she becomes a toddler.
Ayesha cares for her when Mercury is busy:

But the rest of the time Mercury is the parent. He is starting to develop a special connection with Venus.

While they are not having to take care of Venus, Ayesha reads the first cooking book

While Mercury gardens

He just started a new patch of plants for his garden. All of the plants there are at least great apple trees.
Ayesha finishes the first cooking book and proceeds to read the next one.

Mercury finishes his gardening for the day, and, judging by the fumes that are being emitted from him, he better take a shower.

Ayesha finally finishes the second cooking book and moves on to the third one. She is at level 7 now, and when she gets to level ten, she has the ability to cook Ambrosia.

Mercury has finished his gardening for the day, so he goes to the park to do some fishing.

He's not sure yet if he wants to be best at fishing or gardening, but he's not quite an adult yet, so maybe he can do both.

I sense this is going to be a problem for you, as you write long updates... Your sim gets pregnant and gives birth in the same chapter etc...

Yeah, it can get weird. I actually wasn't planning for these updates to be long, they just were. I'm limited on how much I can play sims, so things like that might happen. I didn't realize I took like 8 screenshots in this update either, I thought I just took a couple until I started writing this.

Chapter 5: Birthdays
Today is Venus's birthday! Instead of being a frustratingly annoying baby, now she's a frustratingly annoying toddler!


Venus was really excited and loves to party!


And Ayesha figures that now is the best time to shove a piece of cake up the baby's rear

That day, Ayesha teaches Venus to walk, and after she learned, Venus decided that she was old enough to decide how she looked. And the bald head had to go.



Next, it was Mercury's turn to celebrate.


Now he's an adult, and its a wake up call go him, he needs to work harder towards becoming immortal.
With that in mind, he visits the science facility with one goal in mind: to feed the omni plant.

Meanwhile, Ayesha teaches Venus how to talk.
Ayesha- "Love is a good thing, Venus, and you need to find a husband."
Venus- "Eww... Boys are gross!"

Gardening at home again, Mercury finishes two of the gardening skill challenges. Just one more to complete and he will have supermaxed the skill.

And Ayesha works on a portrait of Venus.

And Venus becomes potty trained.

But will Mercury be able to get to the top of the gardening career in time? He is only at level 7, and the hardest parts are yet to come.

Thanks! The hairs a bit off, but I didn't want to have to look at a sim with orange hair for the rest of the game. Hurts my eyes. Then again, the next sim is going to have blue and green hair.

I think I will. Im almost to the top of the gardening career because I found out that the harvests from the omni plant at the science facility count too, so now the money is rolling in. Oh, and I bought a building, but I didnt post that here.
