French Greet

I have a sim who's mother is from French and I saw she (the daughter) wasn't using the French kiss while the was in Sunset Valley, but she did use it in French. Not only with the French people, but also with the explorers. Nearly every greet from her was with the French Kiss. Is this because the French Kiss is given sometimes and not always?
I was afraid she didn't had the trait because she didn't learned any song from French at birth.

In Australia, French Kiss means something a bit different to what you're talking about, so it took me a little while to understand what we were talking about :D

You are talking about the greeting, right?
What I've noticed is that they use the greeting from the specific country they are in, no matter who they are greeting. For example, if the same sim went to China, she would greet them with the bow.

Yes, that's the greet I was talking about. What does it mean in Australia than?

I don't believe it's a hidden trait. When the sim is in France, they will great everyone by kissing them on the cheek, no matter where they are from - they will greet people from France, Egypt and China by kissing them on the cheek if they are in France.
Similarly, if they are in China they will greet everyone, no matter which country they originally come from, by bowing to them.

Well, in Australia it generally means a more intimate kind of kissing, but I won't go into details here :D

Well, in the English speaking world a French Kiss is basically full out snogging. You might want to change the title to something a little more family friendly. But thank you for making me laugh so hard Leto. ;)

Oh! :O Than I'm sorry guys. I had no idea that this had a double meaning actually. French Greet perhaps a better title?

Okey. That's good to know. I did a Google search for it now you guys made me curious. Besides a few tutorials (links anyone? :P) I now see what you guys are meaning.

Leto, the English language is full of innuendo, intentional and accidental. Even Shakespeare (okay, especially Shakespeare) is full of it. I guess there wasn`t much else for our ancestors to do but make up dirty puns. ::)
