Can't see/delete wishes... glitch? (Xbox360)

For two of my Sims, I can see the wishes fine in the status panel during gameplay, but when a new wish pops up and I've already got the max 4 wishes, it takes me to the screen to delete some, but I can't see any of them. It's fine for my other 4 Sims though.
Also, there is a very annoying sound effect continuously going on loop. I can't think what it could be.

There's probably no correct way around this. As for that annoying sound, it could it be that little jingle you hear when a wish pops up? Also, my best advice would be to reset your Sims. This is probably one of the most annoying problems on the game that I've read here. XD I'm sorry you've to endure this, but with a game like Sims there's always some new problem that happens. If it get's to annoying then I would suggest starting a new file?
