You are correct, but I found I could complete Dangerous Minds using the enabletestingcheats fix in the ini file. I only used it to get past the requirement to listen to the teacher. IIRC that's the break point. The rest of the quest, while a bit complex, seemed to work OK. Of course, somebody is going to come along soon to remind of something I forgot:) Anyway, it's a fun quest and completely doable, except for that early requirement.
By contrast, the Night of Magic quest is completely snarled up because the writers were too lazy to check and see they had listed the same recipe for multiple spells. Even with the cheat mode it's almost impossible to save that one.
I don't think I've tried Wandering Prophet, but I will look for it.
