consignment shop problem

 I just installed the generations pack and things go smoothly as they're supposed to except the consignment store. Access to the store is still available, everyone can go in and out but the store does not function. I mean there's not a single soul to work the cashier machine even during its working hours (9Am to 15PM, if I recall exactly). the "Browse" option says "shop closed" ( or "store closed"!!!!)
 Can someone help me out, please?

What you need to do is go to edit town mode. Then select to build/buy on the consignment shop. Delete the consignment cash register and replace it. That should reset it so it "hire" a new consignment clerk. Wait for the clerk to arrive.  I don't think this glitch is related to the Generations expansion, because it has been around since World Adventures.

I have read about it somtime ago, you have to go to edit town->choose the shop->delete the cashier and replace it with the one from comunoty items in build mode hope you undertand what I mean

Well this glitch happened AFTER I installed The Generations but hey, thank you! I'll give it a shot!

It's weird you should say that.
I have just gone to my consignment store and there is three consignment specialist all operating one cash register!!!

This topic isn't about Generations specifically, so I'm moving it to the Technical Help board.  (Note:  Just because a problem starts after installing Generations doesn't always mean it's a Generations related problem.)
