Links and Swap Shop Issue

A mod I was using messed with attachments for a couple of days this week. You might want to check your individual pages to make sure that your items are downloadable. If not, reupload. It shouldn't be too rough since you have all the information already entered. The mod made changes but didn't reverse them.

If you posted a link within the body of the forum to another topic it too could be messed up.

So how do I check that an item is downloadable? Do I confirm the presence of the attachment, or do I click on every one?

It is only affecting things around July 4-6. I hope no one did 50 items or something crazy during that period. Stuff before and after that is Ok.

Carl, there is a bizarre issue that causes normal links posted between a certain period not to work, I'm afraid. I started a topic about it here.

Idea: Is it the "Pretty URL's" mod that you installed? It looks as though it might only be the new URL's that are causing problems. I will test this in another thread and report back.

These are the URL's of the content I have uploaded onto the Swap Shop. They are all URL's in my generic upload thread.
As you can see, "The Bistro House" and "Celebrity Rewards" have the new URL's.
I tried both URL's. Neither worked. I also tried the links to "Max Skills" and "Suits Me". Both were posted in the same time period as the other two. Both worked.

That URL mod was definitely the problem. It broke the spell checker, so I had to remove it. When I removed it, it didn't restore those URLs back to the way they used to be, because those links were inputted manually. The only content that absolutely needs to be fixed are uploads, I wouldn't expect everyone to check all their messages. Just do what you can for your download audience for now. I'm sorry that a mod I installed brought the inconvenience. Sometimes they're incompatible and I've got to pull them out.
