I've never learned cooking from the baby books.  Only the child's oven.  I have learned writing from the baby books.

Also now that Supernatural is out, technically, there is a hidden skill for werewolves, vampires,  witches and fairies.

The green ones like blue eggs and pastrami are the cooking ones. At least, it seems more like they're cooking than writing with a title like that.

What's the hidden vampire skill? I know the werewolf one's foraging, the faerie's is it's magic and tricks and the witch's is their spells.

Blueish Eggs with a Side of Pastrami, Frank I'm Not and Oh the Destinations You'll Briefly Visit are all the books to give the writing skill.   Two are spoofs of Dr Seuss books that I loved when I was a kid - Green Eggs and Ham and Oh, The Places You'll Go!.

I don't have Supernatural but knowing EA they will have made those termined as being werewolf, Vampire, witches or fairies are most likely so because of a hidden trait, not skill.

Actually, Frank I'm Not is probably a spoof of Sam I Am.

Really? Those names seem more orientated to cooking than to writing to me...oh well.

I was thinking skill because you have level it to earn your full powers as a -insert occult here- now.

Looking through the skills I noticed 4 new hidden skills with Supernatural unless I missed something. They were Lycanthropy, Fairy Magic, Spellcasting and Broom Riding

It's said something in the previews of Supernatural that anyone can learn broom riding if you buy them one, witches just automatically transport themselves on them just like a child does with a bike.

Yes, Anyone can ride a broom. I think the hidden skill might have to do with preforming tricks in arena. That's just a guess tho.

Meditation allows "Zenport with Ease" when you have meditated for 150 hours.  The medative focus seems to influence how quickly the sim will reach the point where they can teleport or zenport.  Worth doing if you want to reach distant or inaccessible places frequently.  Zenport will get you to any place you can see within moments.   I make my sims meditate while waiting, for example after inviting another sim over, every little helps.

You seem to be missing, snowboarding, ice skating, roller skating, basket ball, soccer, there are few other activity games that probably have them as well. I haven't played horse shoes enough to see if my sim improves with time and I don't have the rock wall yet.

What about the DJ booth that came with Showtime, does that raise any skills, hidden or otherwise?  :-\

How do you know what skill level you are in these?  And does anyone know, what is the point of them being hidden?  I like the other skills where I can see where I'm at and can work on them.  Just wondering what your thoughts are on this.  thx.

I was digging out rubble in a tomb and it came up with some message that I had dug so much rubble it had improved my skill (forget how it was phrased).  I wonder if this could be another hidden skill?
