How can I solve the stop working message from windows

Hello,

I'm new here and I have problem. I hope anybody help me.

First I was playing Sims perfect and good working I have Sims 3 the base game, Ambition, Late night.

I decide to buy Sims 3 Generation CD for my pc sony.  When I installed it in on my computer, it worked good.  After 5 minutes from playing the game I get message,  that sad ( windows stop working Sims 3 ) I have windows 8  ?? And now every time I go to play it, I get the same message.  I reinstall all parts of the game and install it again and it seems no benefit from that I search in the internet for solution but nothing can help.

I need just to get solution for this problem or what should I do??

Welcome to the forum bidown.  I am sure you can find the answer to your question on the forum.  However, if you could please remove the poll, as polls are basically used to gather certain information about the game, not for members to get an answer to a question.  If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

I have seen that problem from other members also.  Maybe to clean up your computer by defragging and getting rid of any cookies might help.  I am not sure what other games you have installed and how long you have been playing, but cleaning your computer up helps with some problems.

Thanks for your reply and sorry for the polls but I try to remove it but I couldn't.

About the game this is the only one game that I play it.

I try to clean the pc but it not help.

I went ahead and removed the poll for you.

Can you get the game to start up?  If you can, lower all the settings to low.  I could be your video card is not able to handle Generations.  I had that problem after installing Generations.  My computer would completely crash and have to reboot.  I finally got the settings worked out and can play again.

If you can't get the game started, I am at a loss. 

Also what is Windows 8?  I haven't heard of that operating system.  Are you a beta user?

I dont understand what u mean ,but I cantnot start the game which the generation only but the sims 3 the base is ok

I need the steps to solve the problem every time is shutting down and not work only the generation cd.

know I try to install the generation sims after install it, open a message that windows is stop working it .

can you told me how u solve it .

Since you're running Generations, you'll also need to add TSW.exe and TS3EP04 to the list as well.
