I think if you start logic as a toddler it won't be too terrible - in my Max Skills Marathon challenge, I skilled up Logic using the chemistry set and the telescope, and when I hit Logic 10, I had 7 potions and 17 stars discovered; finishing those challenges off took hardly any time at all at that point. Either of those activities can be done as a child, plus you can get a nice head-start on the skill (which will make discovering potions and stars go a little faster) with the pegbox and logic books as a toddler. You can also prevent other family members from raising Logic, so for the skill-tutoring requirement it shoudl be safe to spend 5-6 hours apiece tutoring other family members in Logic - and if you use it for 7th gen, you'll have your own child to tutor.
Athletics is easy, if you've still got the skill available - it's just a total slog. I feel like I'm cracking the whip on the poor sim: "Okay, boy, back on the treadmill!" For what it's worth, on the treadmill, you jog about 10 km/hour, so if you use the treadmill you rack up both jogging distance and cardio hours, and you'll get the Marathon Runner challenge at about 50 hours. I don't think you get cardio hours if you jog on the sidewalk.
And I agree with Pam about leaving Charisma open - unlike Handiness, you can't stop them from increasing the skill, but it makes getting the best friend requirement sooooooo much easier. And the Politician career is easy enough to max out that you should be able to pull it off while supermaxing another skill other than Charisma - my politician did Handiness for her supermax.
