Watch Out For The Blender!

Following Faith's birth, things didn't get better between Eve and Emanuel. Eve gave him a call and decided to end things, rather than do it at her home though, she chose to meet at the beach.



Baby days don't last long and with this being the last ones in the house, everyone seemed to be in a rush for the fun time to begin.



Mercy took over once again and got started on all the necessary toddler skills.



As well as some play time in between all the learning.



Eve would take Faith on nightly strolls to calm her down before bed, good thing they relaxed Eve as well after a long day at work.



And once again, birthdays began popping up as Faith grew into her (insane) child years.





I wouldn't really say there was too much insane about Faith. She enjoyed most of what normal children enjoy, except for the fact that she hates the outdoors. Even with all her begging, we couldn't find a feasible way to move the playground inside. Faith learned to grimace through the pain of nature.



Later on, she'd sneak back in like she'd never been out there and take in some one on one painting time with Nana Lilya.



Eve hit her adult birthday as well and ended up in full midlife crisis, we only managed to get one picture of her and she refused a makeover until she was "ready."



Sam was invited to a party over at his son Craig's house, they spent most of the time sharing secrets about the other party guests.



And another birthday in this update, seems to be a few too many this time around. Faith gracefully transitioned into her teenage years, albeit with a bit of changes from her previous years.





In between all the hustle and bustle, Mercy decided it was time for another family pet. She found the saddest looking little pup named Peanuts and brought him home.



And last but not least, Faith wanted to show off how she spends her free time. She's taken on nectar making for her supermax and decided to become a pool shark while she's waiting on her nectar to be ready. Though she is getting better with her trick shots, she sure had a tough time with the blender one.

Thanks, Rica. I was really pushing to get it finished, but real life threw me a few speed bumps. Ended up not much farther in game, but it gave me time to catch up on posting. Hopefully tomorrow I can get back in there and make sure everything is as I left it before installing Supernatural.

I know it's been forever since an update and it's partially due to losing interest in how the story has been going. Maybe it's because it's so near to coming to an end or maybe because there's not much to do now that everyone is so fulfilled in their duties. Either way I managed to get in some play time after the holidays were over and here's a quick update to bring the story to the current state it's in.

A Long Time In The Making

Rather than wear her prom outfit to the actual prom, Faith decided on going in her normal clothing. Who says you have to follow the crowd, Faith is all about being herself!



We had our first alien visit, Gabe was disappointed that they were only here to see Nikkila's garden. He went on for days about the scientific and medical procedures they could have discussed.



Shortly after prom, Faith had her young adult birthday. She didn't really have much a teenage life, most of it was spent in the basement working on her wine cellar.





She's also taken up interest in the musical side of things, she's nearly maxed out both guitar and bass.



We had our first snow, no seriously our first snow ever! All the sudden after we came out of our long period of stasis, it started raining. After the rain, we had storms like you wouldn't believe and shortly after, it was snowing. No one is sure how long it'll last so we made sure to make the most of it. This is the ladies in their first early morning snowball fight.



While we were hammering away at each other with snowballs, the guys decided to see if they could build an igloo. You wouldn't believe how proud of themselves they were, when all was said and done.



We also headed up to the lake above our house to see if it was safe for ice skating. Don't start laughing at us now, some of us are a bit old ya know!



It was with ice skating that Faith really shined. It's too bad that she's not able to pick up any athletic skills, she'd be a natural at it, just like Sam is.



About midway into our winter season, Eve's elder birthday came up. Thankfully, there was no midlife crisis this time around.





She's also managed to complete all her goals and was able to sit down with the rest of us elders for her first taste of Ambrosia. Only Faith is left and she's nearly finished with her goals as well, really all she needs to do is make a few friends and live the rest of her life.



To celebrate Eve's achievements we all decided to head out and enjoy the snow some more, I have a feeling it won't be around much longer as the lakes aren't able to be skated on anymore.

Thanks Gogo, it means a lot that you came back to check the update after so long. I had to do a factory reset today, so hopefully the next update will be tomorrow if all goes well.

Thanks, Saltpastillen! I'm determined to finish this, even if it takes me forever. The lag in game gets so horrendous that by the time the game loads, I question whether I still want to play the file. Hopefully with the reset it'll keep the lag to a minimum for Faith to reach elder/immortal status.

Passing The Time

With Faith very near finishing up all her requirements and still a good amount of time left before she's an elder, we've had to find ways to occupy the rest of the household. We've installed two horseshoe games, a rollerskating rink, and an area for water balloon fights.



During one of her last batches before Faith was about to head down to the consignment shop, she's busted her nectar making machine. She ranted and raved about it being a full moon, the family was cursed, and just about every other thing she could imagine.



After the repairman showed up, we started to think there might be a bit of truth to some of her rants.



With all the free time while waiting for her batches of nectar to be done, Faith has mastered guitar and bass, she's now moved onto learning the drums.



We still get paparazzi hanging around our place, not nearly as much as we did before the weather changes started. Nothing like an impromptu hail storm to send them running for cover!



Though some of us elders do still work, we still try to find time for ourselves. Eve still enjoys fishing as much as she did as a child.



Gabe always manages to find time to lose himself in a good book.



I still chip away at the old block, my favorite medium is still ice, though once in a while I change it up for the heck of it.



Lilya, though she has no new painting techniques to learn herself, says that she still needs to keep fresh in case she gets called to teach an art class.



Even though being a five star chef was Jessie's main goal, she now dreams of the day she has her own cooking show.



Sam still spends a lot of time down at the local gym when he's not working out at home. Lately though, he's been spending a lot of time breaking space rock blocks so I can finish up the new gem cuts we recently discovered.



And last but not least, Nikkila has finally managed to be able to plant all sorts of new things. Her last planting was a bunch of steak and shortly after, she got the call about a new plant called the omni plant.
