Welcome Number Seven

Since Andre passed, Melina hadn't been the same. She continued to roam around the house muttering about how it should have been her turn, how he never got to see his baby get married, and so on. One night, Melina's mutterings caught up to her. She was pouring her heart out over what almost sounded like a death march on the keyboard when her time was finally up.



With the passing of her Father and her Aunt, Lilya decided it was time for good news in the Hauptman house. She had been talking to Warren about their wedding plans well before the passing of Melina and had decided that marriage wasn't what she wanted. Sure they'd have a child to continue on with the dynasty, but Lilya didn't see the point in putting on a show for a piece of paper. She knew in her heart that she belonged to Warren and he belonged to her, there would never be anyone else for either of them.

That evening she told Warren that she wanted to start working on bringing in the next generation, he'd always happily obliged Lilya's every desire without question. This time however, he told her that it was something to think about, but not something to start working on immediately. In his attempt to distract her, he only seemed to make things worse. After a while he managed to calm the storm and even got her to agree to head out for a midnight picnic with him. Little did Lilya know, but Warren had a different set of plans for their future, ones that she couldn't refuse once he was down on bended knee.



And just as she wanted, on the night of their wedding, they began making way for the next generation. Luckily or rather unluckily, depending on how you look at it, little number "seven" aka Eve was on her way.

Welcome baby Eve!  I know all about the waiting game but I realize I did it to myself.  With supernatural coming I can feel a deadline.  Awesome update and I love Lilya's wedding hair and dress.  Warren is such a sweetie.

I'm one day away from Eve's toddler birthday. Hopefully it'll all be smooth sailing from here. One more time of playing the waiting game and my supermaxing will be easy enough for Eve and number eight.

All About Eve

Ever since Eve was born, the paparazzi have been trying everything to snap up the first pics of her. They've even taken to fighting among themselves for that right.



Eventually things calmed down by the time she was a toddler and the real fun began.



Mercy and Jessie took to Grandma duty like it was their second calling, every time anyone else even attempted to teach Eve anything, one of them came running and shouting about how it was their turn.

Mercy took over walking duty.



Jessie got the not so fun task of potty training.



Which in turn made Mercy think it was her turn again and she started on teaching Eve to talk.



But, it looks like Jessie had a plan the whole time. Rather then spend all her time teaching Eve how to do things, she ended up being able to spend most of their time together enjoying childhood.



The rare moment of Eve actually playing on her own, she almost always goes straight for her toy boat over all the other toys.



Toddler days don't last long in the Hauptman house and after much debate, Mercy finally relented and allowed Jessie to have the birthday honors.

How We Spend Our Days

During weekends in her free time, Eve heads to the lake up the road to work on mastering fishing. At first her catches weren't very impressive, but after a while she was reelin' in the big ones!



On week nights, when she gets home from school, she always heads up to her room to do her homework and inadvertently bond a bit with her mother. The room has always been used for Hauptman children, once they're out of the nursery and until they're old enough to move into their own room. Lilya started her writing career there and to this day, still feels it's the best place for her writings.



One night, while out for a jog, Warren had a funny feeling come over him. He'd completely forgotten, along with the rest of the house, that it was his birthday!





As an after school activity, Eve had been signed up for Ballet. As an afterthought, we probably should have signed her up for Scouts. But as tradition holds, she had her recital and brought home a trophy.



What's the rest of the house up to? Well, not a whole lot honestly. Mercy and Warren take breaks around midday to enjoy a foot massage from their "super fantasic chairs" as they like to call them.



Jessie and Lilya have gotten pretty competitive with each other over video games, you can often hear them yelling excitedly throughout the house.



Gabe is still searching the sky, he's convinced that there's other life out there and he will be the one to find them.



Nikkila is torn between her love of trying to save the planet by conserving natural resources and taking a few turns down the slip n' slide.



Sam spends a lot of the time at the gym lately, we've all hoped that he would have more time with his other children but they all seem to busy for their "old man". Instead, he's left to work out with his mortal enemy that will never forgive him for stealing away Vickie Parrot.



And as cases of the birthdays go, once again a birthday was overlooked as the funny feeling took over Lilya.





The next morning however, a birthday was not forgotten and Eve aged up from child to teenager.

A Brisk Journey With Eve

With the teenage years in full bloom, Warren decided to be the one brave enough to teach Eve how to drive.



Eve still spends plenty of time fishing, though why she ended up in her formal wear is beyond me.



Nothing like a little adventure while fishing around town, good way to scare the daylights out of me as well.



With prom under wraps, we have another prom queen crown to add to the family museum. Eve also fell in love during prom with one of her childhood friends, Emanuel Lemieux.



All the fishing finally paid off, Eve has completed her lifetime wish with her collection of perfect fish! Now to see about getting some of them mounted.



And as the days are winding down towards the end, the amount of ambrosia needed gets larger. Lilya has finally finished all her requirements and is allowed her first taste of immortality.



Mercy's fears of burglars was calmed for a bit but they're back at it again, this time they're sending out ones that are beating up the cops!



But not to fear, Sam had his way and sent the burglar packing.



With Eve on the verge of becoming a young adult, she decided it was time to step back and look at the bigger picture. She's already finished her lifetime wish, made a few friends, and is well on her way to being over halfway done with her requirements.



Not wanting to wait for morning when everyone would be awake, she snuck off to one of the families properties to have her birthday as soon as she was able to.





Later that night though, Warren passed as he was heading up to bed. He never got to finish his final painting.



Sam was finally able to catch up with one of his children with Vickie Parrot. He found out that Craig had taken up a job at the stadium where he used to work. One day they met up at the gym and after a bit of talking, Sam brought himself out of retirement so he could spend more time with his son at work and training him in their down time.



With the thoughts of needing to bring the last generation of Hauptmans into the world, Eve decided that it was time to call up her old flame Emanuel.



It didn't take much to rekindle the spark between them.



Though Eve had prepared herself well for this moment, she knew it could never become a full blown relationship. Unfortunately, her way of preparing herself gave her commitment issues in the long run.



She also fears her choice of a father for her baby may not be the right one, he's constantly mumbling about dragons.



In the long run though, Eve was never more happy than the first moment she felt her baby moving around.

Number Eight Brings Faith

Eve's pregnancy was anything but smooth on her romantic life. Between her commitment issues and Emanuel's childish insane ways, it was causing quite a rift between them.



One night she decided to give it one more try with Emanuel, she called him up and invited him over to the family park. With her luck being the way it had been, she ended up going into labor shortly after arriving.



Emanuel was already there, happily swinging away on the swings with not a care in the world. And that is where he stayed all throughout Eve's cries for help, he couldn't be bothered to help the mother of his child, let alone his child coming into the world at that very moment.



Eve managed to get to her car and drive herself to the hospital, she gave birth alone, as the baby was coming way too quickly to call her family. She knew the name she always wanted to give her child, but it was a one shot deal, it had to be a girl. Lady luck was smiling on her at that point because she got what she wanted. This dynasty started with Mercy and it will end with Faith.
