Creating a Household

I just got Sims 3: Generations and I managed to create one Sim for my household, but for some reason, I can't create additional Sims for the same household.  How do I create additional Sims for a given household?  Thanks for your help!

Welcome to our Forum, Rosalie.

While you're still in Create A Sim, look at the bottom of the screen.  You'll see a button with a head on it and/or a plus sign.  Click it and your next Sim will pop up for you to customize.
