I recently had a sim live to 115. She wasn't a marathon runner or a vegetarian. There didn't seem to be any reason for her to keep living, but she DID have the lucky trait. I wonder if that gave he an increased chance of not dying?

Hee hee, another reason to love that Lucky trait.

Actually, it doesn't, you just had a lucky sim who also happened to have the lucky trait  ;D

Ok, I was just noticing on your table, it doesn't seem to take into account sims who die of old age before the age of 90, because I've had some sims who die several days before that.

Elleney-- my first Sim-- was not athletic, was not a vegetarian and lived to be 112.  Connor Frio-- in game town Sim, married Elleney-- not athletic, not vegetarian and lived to be 94.  I think he was over-worked and died early because I didn't let him retire.  LOL

the 90day minimum thing depends on the lifespan settings selected, that is, of course, for natural death due to age; sims can die from a myriad other things.

Also, again, vegetarianism doesn't affect lifespan.

I hear what you're saying, but I always use normal lifespan, and I've played through MANY generations, and every once in a while I have a sim who will die of old age before the age of 90.  It isn't super likely, but it does happen.  And I'm pretty sure that I've read other places that it can happen any time during Old Age, but the longer you live the more likely it will occur.

How can you prove vegetarian doesn't affect life span? Even if you tested it, one sim may die before another or anything could be put into the data when they are going to die.

And how is the game code accessed?  What does that mean?

Code as in the scripts that determine the game's behavior, they are stored within .package files, the info i posted was from a modder that got curious and opened that particular script.
