These hairstyles are indeed nice (more styles = better). 
It might still be good to remind about the age reset -glitch that happens when you use the makeover/tattoo station; I got so excited about checking these out I sent one of my legacy twins to the salon and only couple of game days later noticed that she's now 4 days into adulthood while her twin will turn elder in 2 days. Well, I wasn't too serious about that legacy anyway.
Ouch. You're right, it's best to keep that bug in mind when you take your Sims to the salon. Perhaps try using "unlockoutfits on" next time, if you don't mind mild cheating. Seeing your Sim is a twin, you can use a cake to age her up at the same time as her sibling, no harm done.
